I'm seeing and hearing about more and more places not allowing vaping. I know WHY people don't want vaping, they don't understand what it is. My question is, would this be an issue if there was no visible vapor? People tend to blame it on the "smell" or that the second hand vape is somehow bad for them. What if they saw us sucking on a battery and blowing out nothing but "air". Would there be an issue? I think not.

I think you are missing my point. It's not against the law to fart in public (as far as I know). But if farts came out as a cloud of red "smoke" you can bet there would be laws and rules in place about only doing it alone in the bathroom. Whether it's harmful or not isn't the real issue, it's perception. Nothing visible, no one cares.

The arguments about whether you should vape in public or not also make me angry. Just because you can doesn't mean you should but it also means if someone does there is nothing wrong with it. We really need to stop hiding because of what someone might think. Instead educate people and then it's no big deal to vape at your desk or in a restaurant.

The argument "stop vaping in public because you are going to get it banned!" is flawed. People who want a ban don't want you to do it ever. Even in your own home when noone else is around. In my state there have been tobacco bans where you couldn't smoke in your own home if a neighbor complained. People hundreds of feet away would say they could tell you were smoking in your home and it was not allowed. Hiding wont stop these people. They think they know whats best no matter what the facts are.

or wait til you are in a place that will allow you to vape, like outside, in your car, at your house.
I vape everywhere, but in certain places I usually stealth vape...

--Movie theaters
--Plays
--Airplanes
--Restaurants
--Petco Park

I've been doing this for four years and no one has EVER noticed.
One just needs to learn how to properly stealth vape.

Having said that, I don't like to stealth vape, because it isn't as satisfying.
And I wouldn't do it except that nearly every time I ask if it is okay I am told no.

But then again, I live in California, and things are a little different around here.
