hi anne, my friend recently ordered a vision EGO her order # is 7122 and the ego doesn't work.. :(
The thread on the ego doesn't connect to the KGO too well, like there's a lil gap and the hit is non - existant.

It's weird because the Vision ego that came with my order, worked exceptionally fine. is it the batch maybe ? one is good one is bad ?
thanks for helping

Hi heinz, I've never heard of this problem with the Vision Ego before so fortunately it's very rare, but I suspect the threads were somehow defective on that particular one. But not to worry, your friend already contacted me directly and I sent her out a replacement today.

I bought one to try and yeah, I'm getting the chemical taste, too. Will it wear off if I vape my brains out?

Kitty, I don't think I've gotten one of these, so I'm not sure. I did get one that seemed like the wick was singing, creating a bad taste when I first used it, but when I thinned the e-liquid a tad and got it broken in, it was fine so I don't know if it's the same issue. Maybe others will chime in?

i think with all sorts of different options for cartomizers she offers which makes it perfect for different people like myself i do like vision egos but i think they're more for people who don't vape as often. when it comes to dependebalitlity you can't go wrong with the lr boge. 5 for $5 it's like a $1 each. a fresh boge is a nice cartomizer. you really can't go wrong when an ego is $6 for one.

it's really up to the individual with their own preference, if they like the hi-tech ego then they'd have to shell out more technically. i love the ego, but it did died out one me after three weeks of heavy using, which is totally awesome because I cannot get that out of a boge.

but there was alot of things i had to do with the ego and sometimes it was a hassle. overall, i'd go with the 30 lr boge pack and a couple of atomizers with the joye cartridges over a pack of 5 egos and a stone or two. hmmm..

I just received a Vision carto w/ my order today, I have to say I am impressed. I tucked my ego's away about a year ago when I got my vv devices, I may not have done that had these little gems been around back then. It filled so easily, and it really puts out some vapor with a clean taste. Right now I have Absolute orange zest in it, and it tastes great. I will have to keep these around for when I want a smaller pv to take out and about. Thanks Annette, I wouldn't have tried these if not for your April news letter!

So glad you're enjoying them, minx! I love my red one with my pink KGO battery. I'm a sucker for a girlie looking e-cig and may have to come out with a rhinestone version just to add some bling to the pink! :)

I am guilty of adding bling to a few of my first little 510's. I used "nail art" appliques to do it and they came out so cute. I also did one of my tanks with the same stuff, it looks very girly lol.

Yeah minx...let's see some pics of your bling! :)

I'm really torn on the Vision Stardusts/Ego. I have the Stardusts, but should be getting a Vision Ego from Annette today to compare.

Pros:
super easy to use
look great on a KGO
no leaking
no gurgling
no juice in mouth
nice clean flavor

Cons:
decent vapor, but not the plumes that I like (compared to the Vision Stone or even a Boge carto)
very little to no throat hit
tight draw
tight draw
tight draw
suck your eyeballs out type of draw!!!

I'm using them with adapters on a KGO batt and an 808 batt, to set them up a little higher so they will get more air. I should be getting the right adapter so that it will fit the mini Lavatube today, so I'll see how that goes.

Some people are drilling holes in the bottom connector to free up the draw. I may try that if I can find the right drill bit.

Does anybody else have a problem with the tight draw, and if so, have you found a solution?

This is one of my original 510s and the only one who's bling didn't peel off because I put clear polish over it

I am one of the unlucky ones who got an icky taste with my Vision. I want to use the other one but I'd like to rinse it out first to see if that helps. Any tips on how to rinse it out without ruining it? TIA! :)

(I bought a couple of 808 threaded and they don't have the chemical taste at all.)

Kitty.... I clean mine when changing juice and get several weeks out of them. I just let them sit in boiling hot water (I don't boil them...just get the water that hot in a bowl) Let them sit until the water is cool enough to work with...then just get water in tank and cover with my thumb and shake shake shake...do that a few times...then let them air dry over night. If I remember... I'll do 3-4 short dry burns before refill. Works for me:laugh:
