I am considering ordering some. Can anyone tell me how long they last before they have to be thrown away? Also, does anyone know how they compare to smok Tech Mega Dual Coil 1.5 ohm cartomizers? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have been vaping the heck out of 3 of the new Ego Visions / Stardusts for the past two weeks, a heavy vapor, and I carry around 3 cigs and switch around between the 3. But so far, haven't cleaned a thing, they still behave like they did on day one.
But I now desperately need to clean them - liked the prior message, but note that the writer says it would be smarter to remove the top white piece before dry burning after cleaning. That is why I was afraid to clean mine, not knowing how to deal with the top white part (I am not a modding type, other than having a box mod, I am using KGO batteries with the new LR Ego Visions.)
Can anyone try to clarify the part about taking out the white part thing? Can you just get in there with tweezers and pull it out, on the new type with the raised tube in the middle? Any help would be much appreciated! These guys have been going strong, but I think a cleaning would revive them for another couple of weeks.

I do however have a problem with my last (2nd) order that was "improved" with a metal cone inside. I ordered 5 and all 5 have burned taste that comes and goes no matter at what angle I hold it. And I don't have that problem with the first version which I still have and use.

Thanks for the tweezer tips in answer to my quest to pull out the metal pips in the new Ego Vision/stardutsts. I did buy one of those really plain tweezers, but can't find it. I will try to find those longer ones with the curved tips. I did it with the tweezer types I find in most drugstores, that almost look like mini-scissors with the two small circles for the fingers. It was kind of tough on some of them, but did work. On the ones that did not want to come out, I did a fast 'jiggle' motion while pulling up. It seemed easier to remove when I first rinsed and shook them with water. Now what would be great are the simple 'pincher' type of tweezers, with rubber on the inside if the pinchers to grab the metal better.
