Vision Ego Clearomizers

These are total crap.. Last about 8 days then the liquid gets so dark and thick and taste like crap you can't use them anymore.. Tried to take it apart to clean it and there is not even a atomizer in it.. It's a tiny thin wire the same diameter as a strand of hair wrapped around the very brittle fiber of a wick. The wick reminds me of old cheap car seat cover for a car, the fuzzy stuff. snip a piece of that off and wrap a tiny wire around it about 6 times and that is what you got.. I unwrapped the wire off the wick and all the tiny little strands of wick exploded in my fingers..
Regular dual coil cartomizers last longer at taste better and cost only $2 compared to the $5 I spent each on these things..

This is why they are cheaper then the other ones you see posted on other sites. It's not all about how they look on the inside, it's how they are built on the inside. if people are looking for ones you can take apart and rebuild, these are not the ones.
Cleaning them by pouring water in it and swishing it around? you realize that the flavors is burnt on crusted on the wire, it's not gonna just rinse away by pouring water on it..

I was excited to buy these because of all the things I read from everyone. Then you actually buy them and see for yourself, you all must be talking about different ones that look the same..

I think regular dual cartomizers taste like crap after 2 or 3 days and I toss them in the trash. I was able to clean these without taking them apart by rinsing with hot water, soaking in peroxide, rinsing again and dry burning the coil white. When I used these, I was able to get at least 2 weeks of use before I would toss them. No matter what a vendor calls these, they are all the same product by Vision. Saying they are crap is just a little harsh. They didn't work for you, but a lot of people love them.

yea, these are the same exact ones you will find being sold elsewhere they are from vision and are the same, we are just not gouging everyone on the price of them. in the end it is still a cartomizer an a consumable item. we dont suggest using them with vg mixed liquids as they are thicker and tend to not wick as well as a pg based liquid. this is a common problem in about 90 percent of all ecigs, as they are not designed to work with vg, they are designed around pg based liquids.

I seen videos of people having what looks like the same clearomizer on the outside, but the insides, some have a atomizer cone, and pole design and a fine wire design. Even people here are posting video for cleaning for the wrong cartomizers.

You may be washing the flavor from the wick, but your not gonna burn the crust off the wire without burning up your wick and unwinding the wire doesn't really seem possible without damaging it.

I bought them as I thought I was gonna be able to take them apart and clean them from what I have read, but that is not gonna work.. Take a strand of hair or very fine wire and wrap it around a piece of yarn 6 or 7 times, that is the atomizer in these clearomizers..

On the website for Vision they list LiteCigUSA as a vendor and speaking from personal experience they are the Vision Clear-O-Mizers aka Stardust. I bought 2 or each resistance, curently using the LRs on an eGo 3.7v with great results. No cracks so far but this is day 1 and if they last 8 days with this VTF for 5 bucks I'm happy with them.

They do get the juice-darkening funk after a while, but they are cleanable (and easily re-coilable for those who care to)...but ultimately they are consumable/disposable. They cost less than a decent atty and life is comparable or better in my experience (also considerably less than one pack of the nasties...how long did those last?), what more can be expected? More? OK, they are also sturdier than a lot of cartos and can survive in a pocket..and they are easier on batts than DCCs. And are easy to fill. And make a lot of vape, which is tasty IMO.

I'm pretty happy with them, myself.

I ordered 2 of each resistance on 3/17/2012 and received them on 3/20/2012 (ordered Sat and received Tues). I have used nothing but these since I received them 10 days ago. I have used almost every juice I have with no problems with cracking. I clean them at least every other day due to the darkening. For the past 2 days they have been used on a 3VO mostly at diff voltages. If any problems arise I will update with juice/conditions that may have caused it.

lol i found this thread amusing....dry burning off the coil never burns my wick..its white when im done and i get another week out of the unit...also the part about no atomizer inside..what do you think an atomizer is..wick with wire wrapped around it...I dont want to sound like im bashing ya guy..because I just think you need to understand a bit more before trash talking a vendors products.
P.S. At 4.25 a pop..2 weeks worth of good vaping is fine by me

Yeah, I'll have to try those on my next order (shoulda got them this time, but oh well). I do have a question about the clearomizer... I vaped fine with it all yesterday, but as the juice reached the .8ml line, I noticed I got a couple dry/burnt vapes. I also noticed those wicks at the top were looking dry and wondered if that was the problem? Do they need to stay wet? Or should I keep my unit vertical as the juice gets lower? Thanks for any help!
