The Vision Spinner II battery has a ton of clones out there. I purchased one from a store and one online and neither are the real deal. If you are having issues then chances are you have a clone. Keep in mind that it's getting harder to tell the fakes from the real deal. You'll read this a lot on this forum: you get what you pay for. Mine seem to work well and don't have the same issues others are reporting. I'm not sure if I am lucky or not since I've only had them for a couple of months.

Thanks for the reply. Well, I just went to

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...vision-spinner-2-charging-probs-new-post.html

According to what little they have there, I have a genuine. then I went to Vision Electronic Cigarette and the authentication codes for all my spinners checked out fine (see box at bottom of page).

I am going to assume I have a real spinner II. But I did find out in the user manual that come with my spimmers that the charging voltage is 4.2V/420mA so using a usb charger with those same specs (like I have (and I have 5 new ones) is correct.

After some little research, chain vaping at 3.3V is going to decrease your usage time even at 3.3V because you never give it a rest and runs hot constantly. SProbably other factors, too. So maybe mine are working fine. I just have to detach then reattach to charger to finish full charging. I guess that's OK. I have many batts to use. I just wanted to know if mine was defective and I don't think it is. I will check the other 2 I have closely over the next few days

I do find that if you move the cable while it's charging I have to unplug and disconnect everything and start over to get it charging/ lights working properly.

Naw. That has nothing to do with the battery. You either have a faulty USB charger, or faulty wall adapter (or faulty usb port on your computer if you are using your computer instead of a USB wall adapter). Or, you are screwing the battery onto the charge way too loose - just enough to contact, but too little that if you move it is loses contact. It's definitely not the battery, though.

I've had similar issues from 2 spinners, and another ego style spinner from KangerTech. All of them just seem to be subpar, or I don't have a single effective USB charging port in the house.

Most likely the latter.

The joyetech and ego chargers are shallower, because their connectors on the battery are shallower. the Spinners have a deeper connector on the battery.

(this also becomes clear when some clearos work on an ego and then don't fire on the spinner....have to pull the pin on the clearo out a bit).

You have to get the USB chargers that have the connection sticking out a bit past the black casing around the connector part on the USB where it is going to meet your battery.

been there, don'e that, now have several USB chargers that I have labeled and tagged, but it is really easy to see why they work, since the connectors stick out a longer distance than the joyetech and most ego usb's.

P.S. I did have one spinner where i had to press the button on the battery once it was on the charger, 1x or 2-3times, before it started actually charging.

Just got one of these today, stuck it on the charger it showed charged in about 1-2hrs, I got about 1 hrs use if even until the light turned blue, I googled and came across this thread, so I stuck it back on the charger and once it showed charged I turned of the charger and turned it on again, it started charging again for another 3 hrs before it showed charged, turned the charger of and on and its charging again. What is going on with this battery? Will it every be fully charged?

since i last posted to this thread, it seems that turning the battery potentiometer all the way up to 4.8v allows it to charge better. I can't say for sure whether it's charging the whole way, but I always diconnect and reconnect again. After I reconnect, it can take from 2 min to 20 min for the charger to turn green again. I have not timed how long the battery is lasting me, but it is a good long time and that's good enough for me. I prefer my 2013 Vision spinners over these anyhow. They seem to last longer and they seem to last longer and the potentiometer is easier to move. I don't really care for the notched movement in the spinner II. Not really needed and it's annoying to me.

Vision spinner 2 1600mah has issues for sure. It does not last any longer than my Spinner 1300mah ones.
And it did come with the vision charger too. In the beginning I used my standard ego chargers and the battery started playing up Within a day or two.
I pulled out the vision charger and since then I have no issues. However I might add that the spinner 1300 has as much life as the spinner 1600.
Don't get me wrong I do like it but I won't buy it again. Aspire all the way for me
