Hi Porkroll. Have you given the threads on the battery and the charger a really good clean? It might help.

It might not though. Threads on most devices are notoriously soft and are easily damaged. Only thing I can suggest is to get a magnifying glass and examine the threads on the Spinner and the charger - then you'll know for sure.

If they are damaged I am not sure what to suggest. I just did a search on google for fixing stripped spinner threads and there are few solutions out there - sorry.

Why wont't it connect? Are the threads working? Can you screw a topper onto the battery?

Is the center pin possibly pushed in and your Spinner is not making a good electrical connection with the charger? It happens sometimes when you over tighten your toppers onto the battery. There's an easy fix for that: grab a tiny screwdriver or even a paper clip and gently wiggle that center pin, from all sides, up. You just need to raise it a hair, until it connects with your charger. Also check the pin on the charger--if you tried too hard to screw your Spinner on, you may have pushed that pin in also.

In the future, be very careful not to over tighten your toppers and chargers onto your batteries.

I agree. The center pin probably got pushed in and now even screwed in all the way it won't connect. I did that on one of my VV's. Luckily it was a piece of .... ijoy so I don't really care. But now I'm careful with my spinners.
