VISION Spinner Charger?

I have a standard 3.7 volt 650 mah Firebrand battery with the AC Charger for that battery.

I just purchased a 1300 mah VISION Spinner Variable Voltage.

I forgot about the charger! Ugh additional shipping fees here I come....

So I was wondering if I could (& if could... should) use my standard AC/USB battery charger that came with my 3.7 volt 650 mah Firebrand battery.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

looks like an ego clone battery and "should" be ok if it is.

The Spinner uses a 450mah USB charger like this eGo USB 450 mAh Charger Cable I don't know enough about electronics to know what the difference between the two is.

The charger on the firebrand website says it works with any generic ego battery so it should be ok. I use the charger I got for my kgo's on my spinner and it works fine.

Ah thank you. Haha I guess I should have checked their website out.

Firebrand says:

but...

mypvshop.com's 510 Series Overview says:
"Although many people have used 510 chargers to charge eGo batteries, we recommend NOT doing this. The eGo battery is designed to be charged at a higher rate. Charging at a lower rate may effect battery lifespan. Also, the eGo batteries will not fit into a 510 AC charger."

Hmm... any ideas?

Heh, yeah. I was getting a bit confused because the regular 510 and ego are different things. I figured since the eGo has 510 threading, they were the same.

Oh by the way... my charger looks exactly like the one in the link you posted. I know that, that doesnt mean it's the same thing, but maybe it does.

No biggie, sorry.
S/F= Shipped free - $ 5 S/F is pretty good!
And I think if the charger is around 4.2V 420mA should be fine.
It's just using the wrong charger on the smaller 510 batteries
is the only worry anyway.

I would think it would be fine. Our Twists & Spinners all charge on a 4.2v 420 mah output
Along as it's close. It's the voltage that needs to be correct, I think that's what can damage the battery quicker.
Just look what the Output is.

Yeah 420 mah ego chargers will be fine for a Twist/Spinner.

It's putting a 420+ mah ego charger on a regular 510 battery that can cause damage.
Regular 510 batteries are not made to take-in such a fast charge.

just make sure the wallwart you use is 500ma or better it has to be more then 420 to properly charge the battery.

I have no information regarding my wallwart.

It is the same wallwart that came with the charger though (& the website I purchased the kit from says the charger is good for any generic ego battery).
Am I still ok?

Make sure the charger says it is 420mA...there is a lower rated one out there that says 150mA and that one doesn't do the job at all!!
