I'm not sure I about your last sentence and what it meant lol. However no I haven't had a need to do a dry burn as of yet.You speak the truth Christopher, they're phenomenal!
Have you done a clean/burn yet? Any tips/tricks?
BTW...KBC PIC FTW!!! (is that enough acronyms?)

Nice review one question. When you say it takes about a hour to break in do you mean a hour when you first start using it? Or is it like it takes a while to get going then if you stop vaping, for a couple of hours, it takes a while to get back going full blast? Hope that makes sense. Thanks
Just popped my first Stardust. Vapor production dropped at 3.7v, raised it to about 4v on my infiniti with extension, got one good hit then nuttin. A moment of silence please ...
Ok, that was 2 1/2 days use about 15ml. Hopefully the next one lasts a week or these will be a bit pricey, I can live with 3 days life expectancy but I'd rather be at $1/day. (about 6 days).
They are awesome (the best) but not $3/day awesome imo.
I have two more so hopefully it was just one of those things we deal with.
On the other hand, I was looking forward to tearing one apart haha. The coil didn't look as bad as I expected but it did have a little gunk buildup on it. I had not cleaned or dry burned it yet because it was performing great.
Ok now to kill a 2 week old vision mini that so far refuses to die...
lol will do.
I must admit, I do abuse attys and cartos but I don't hold a candle to poor ole rob. I do however get quite a bit of amusement reading that I'm not alone.
And for people considering trying the Stardust, it's an absolute must try 'cuz it was the best carto I ever used! Now I can't wait for the bomb to drop with replaceable parts, get on it Bad!
I must be weird or sumthin...I've never 'popped' an atty. I have 4 510's I've been dripping since August 2009 (plus three 'in waiting'), as well as 4 ego-t atty's (both Type A and Type B). I dry burn occasionally, sometimes boil'em out, but they keep on 'keeping on'.
I completely changed to Gotvapes fluxomizers in October 2011, and only last week did they start'pooping''popping' on me. At between 2 and 3 months of daily use (keeping them WET, except for occasional dry burn), in the last week I've 'popped' two 2.6 to 2.8 ohm fluxos, and one 2.4 to 2.6 fluxo. Also, I did have a wick fall apart on a 2.4 fluxo, but the coil still glows beautifully. I might re-wick that thang!
Anywhoo, I think getting 2 to 3 months out of these things is awesome! Hoping my Stardusts come tomorrow, & expecting some great service out of them.![]()
tricks and tips would be APPRECIATED!Rewicking fluxos is pretty easy. I can't tell if you have or not before, but if you want some tricks and tips let me know.
...moment of silence observed...
And may I humbly suggest if you want that vision to die...give it to rob, or at least think rob thoughts to it.
