Is it common for the Vision STV Nova tank 3.5ml to leak out of the seam of the window? (Between the metal part and the clear window seam)

I've been using this tank since January 4, 2013, and my tank is leaking juice... is this common or do I have a defective product? If defective, what can be done?

Thanks,
Strife

If I'm correct here, the inside plastic tank is one piece all on it's own. The outer sleeve with the window is a separate piece on top of the inner tank. There is no 'seam' between the two. Therefore you either have a crack in the plastic tank or you're seeping juice down in between the two  These tank materials are actually pretty darn sturdy as a rule. What kind of juices are you using ?

i have one that did the same thing - its not leaking out of the window. what is happening is it is weeping past one of the orings prolly at the tank bottom and then the juice kinda wicks up in between the plastic of the tank and the metal of the outer sleeve and then comes out where the window is. what i had to do was replace the bottom oring (where the tank screws on to the bottom cap) with one from the hardware store (wich i'll add is a bit larger and i really had to crank the tank down hard to get it screwed on all the way and even then there is still a tiny gap between the tank and the bottom where you can see the oring in) i also took the orignal white oring from the bottom and added it to the top which solved all the weeping problems and it does not seem to affect the spacing of the headseal to tank top - i was worried the tiny extra lengt would make the head not seal to the top and cause leaking but no problems. only thing is with 2 of the white orings on the top i have to use pliers to get it loose when i need to refill even though i only close it hand tight...
i hope this helps :)

yes if the juice gets on the end of the tank (like with the cap off) it just sucks up between the metal and plastic and i was only able to get mine totally clean by breaking the metal sleeve loose from the plastic tank and clean them both. it was glued together pretty good so i am not sure it would be possible to seperate most of them i think i just got lucky. perhaps a good washing of the tank while dissassembled (plastic and metal together) then letting it dry really good would get it all out...
but most important for the op is to address the weeping out of the threads to stop it getting in there in the first place

vaping ecblends dragon's tear (strawberries and cream) and never had a problem with it in any other vivi nova tank. gonna clean it I guess and let it dry out and try again. i'll let yinz know. thanks for the info :D

If you have any of the other full size Vivi Nova's... you could try their o-rings just to see if that is it or not... just as a thought

honestly i havnt found orings at the hardware store that fit like the little white ones that they come with. nothing that thin - all the stuff ive found is too thick then the tanks dont screw all the way together as designed.

so guys - how about selling replacement replacement oring seperately? (sorry if this already available i havent really looked lol)
