Hi there,

I just ordered two of the Vision Vivia Nova 2's after hearing great things. Just a couple questions in regards to things I've heard people talk about briefly online. It's been suggested not to use certain types of juices in the tank due to the type of plastic, but which types of juices would these be exactly? I use lots of fruit flavors.

Also, I am using this on my eGo Twist (for now) Which ohm should I use and what setting would be recommended with that setup? I am ordering a Provari this week so I won't be using the Twist for much longer, heh, I figure I am going for the gusto here and ordering the best to keep me off cigs completely.

So it seems I can never win here. After ordering two of these I start reading that VG juice is absolutely horrible in these clearos? On the other hand I was given a bottle of distilled water. Could I simply add a drop or two into the tank that has the juice? I have a lot of pure VG juices. I've already paid for my order. I really hope it won't be that bad?

Anytime I think I've read and researched as much as I can I get hit with new info. I can't keep my head above water and it's starting to get expensive!

I cant speak as to the juices as I only use diy menthol and a light diy tobacco, but i will say the twist will come in handy for the vivi nova.I have two vivi nova kits and both of the 1.8omh heads actually are 2.4 .Just start out at a low setting and work your way up till you get the desired vape...the twist will allow you to go above 4volts which I had to too with mine.I run the 1.8(actually 2.4) at 4.4 to 4.6 and its GREAT

Usually I end with Relax, Enjoy! but I think I will start with that for you! There is no panic. It's all OK. The Twist is Great. The Vivi Nova is Great. The ProVari is Great. Your Juice is Great. OK?

I have used 100% VG juice in the Nova with no problems. Usually commercial VG juice is already thinned to a usable consistency. If not thin enough, a few drops of Distilled Water can be added, no problem.

Any of the heads can be used, just adjust the voltage to where it tastes good to you.

Acidic juices are the ones that cause most problems with plastic. The Nova 2.5 has the most resistant plastic yet, so there should be no problems, especially if you have been using the juices already.

Now, Relax, Enjoy!

You want to stay away from citrus juices. I had some lemonade liquid crack one of my Liquinator tanks. Luckily I caught it quickly and it's still usable. If you do want to use those types of juices with a VN, pick up a couple of the metal tanks they make for them.

There's a list of juices somewhere that will crack tanks. If you do a search you can probably find it.

Hi OCDP, I use 100%VG In all my steups, including my Vivi Nova. With that said When I purchased my vivi I also opted for the upgrade metal tube sleeve. I am an electronics technician who consistantly has my mod in one of my pockets. With that said I always break anything with a clear tube. I deciced to give the vivi a try at work without the upgrade sleeve...... guess what..... I broke it the second week. Not bad considering I can't keep a stardust style carto for longer that a few days without snapping it off like a twig.

If you have a thick molasses type VG then you will be in for more frequent tipping to wet the wicks, You could place a few drops of distilled water or even pure grain alcohol to thin the mixture to allow more of a swishing to wet the wicks. Yes you will need to clean it more frequently, but because of the way the vivi is built it is very simple to do.

There is nothing to freak out about. There is always a solution to every problem, you just have to be willing to look fi the one that suits your particular situation. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.

sorry seem like a silly question....but are there any glass tank out there..... i'm never comfortable with storing any form of liquids in plastic period....

Vapedudes.com has some that are really cheap but from what I have read perform really well. There are not any glass tanks for the VN though. Most of the glass tanks are made for punched carto's.

Thanks for all the wicked replies, definitely reassuring.

My order arrived today and boy am I surprised. This thing is friggin' awesome! I've only used stardusts in terms of clearo's and they totally turned me off from using any type of tank system, so I just dripped. Dripping is good at home, but not ideal for taking it out. Dripping also gets messy (for me anyway)

So far I only have positive things to say about this thing, no dry hits, great draw, holds a lot of juice, flavors aren't TOO muted, just pleasant enough. I'm using the 2.4ohm head and vaping at 4.6 volts and up to 4.8 with no issues on my eGo Twist.

I recommend it to anyone looking for a new clearo , especially those wanting to upgrade from stardusts (the older versions..) Faith restored!!
