Hi all,

I just ordered a Vision Spinner 1300mah being disappointed lately w/ the performance of eGo/ce4 setup and was looking to add a vivi nova as I heard they were the best tank system for larger style batteries - I just have a question about the clear ones vs the aluminum ones I've seen and also the regular size vs. mini. I've read the minis tend to leak more - is this true? What are the advantages of an aluminum one over the clear/acrylic ones - I don't vape cinammon or banana flavors so I'm not worried about cracking due to acidic juice - is this the only reason to get aluminum? Basically I just want to know which vivi nova is considered the best. Thanks :)

I can't speak for leaking issues. I've never had a leak.

The Minis have a better form factor with eGo batteries. But if that isn't an issue for you, then get whichever size you want. Aluminum is good for using juices that may react with the clear tubes. but some people prefer the look fo them too. To each their own. You can certainly use them with any juice.

Hi, sorry you seem to be having trouble with your setup. My experience with the authentic Vision Vivi Nova (mini and tank) has been quite successful. I have not had any of them leak at all. They should be filled to just below the place where the wicks exit the coil head. Anything over that will eventually drop down through the tube and cause them to leak. So far as which one is best I would say that any VN from an authorized dealer would be fine. Don't have any aluminum tanks so I can't speak for or against them.

The metal tanks can take some juices that the plastic tanks can not handle. Other than that fact, I am not sure if one is better than the other with leaking issues. With metal being more durable than plastic, metal would be my guess at the better material. After a while, if the plastic threads wear down, I could see leaking being a factor. I tend to abuse and drop mine, and went to metal just because the metal tanks actually stand a chance of survival when they hit the ground.

there is no such thing as the best. if there was we all would be using one item from the same vendor. with that said, i normally would have recommended the standard vivi nova. however after yesterdays experience my tune has changed. made a fatal error and loaded up banana foster in my vivi nova right before i headed out the door to work.

this juice has both cinnamon and banana, has never mess with my other tanks but it ate thru the vivi by the time i was pulling out of the parking lot. once i work i simply wrapped with scotch tape and was able to refill with the same juice as that was all i was carrying on me. and no im not a rookie been vaping for over 2 years. but mistakes happen. also when trying different juice sometimes you will forget whats what.
