In Canada the e cigs are illegal to sell but apperantly the juice is not. Today at my local smoke shop, they were selling a new shipment of Vitamin infused E Liquid in 10ml droppers. They had a tobacco flavored Vitamin C, an Orange flavored Vitamin D (go figure) and a Vanilla flavored Multi Vitamin; which claimed to have A, C, B12, D and E.

The Vitamin C claimed to have 15mg per 1ml....Vitamin D 200 I.U. per 1ml and I can't recall the Multi Vitamin.

I didn't buy any because they were very expensive, $8 plus tax for 10 ml, and I figured I could get them cheaper online but I haven't been able to find them...

I would find it more efficient and probably a lot tastier to just buy Vitamin capsules, and leave the vaping juice for vaping. I don't think vaporized vitamin juice tasting like asparagus, spinach, horseradish or garlic would be too palatable, just MHO...
There are some good herbal lung juices, but those aren't for constant use either. (nhaler)

With Kate. Besides which, heat destroys vitamins. Someone enlighten me if I'm missing something obvious here, but I can't think of how vitamins in eliquid could be anything more than a gimmick.

Inhaling vitamin vapor is one of The Most Effective Ways of getting the vitamin into your bloodstream and keeping it there.

I googled and found references to people who *believe* that, but I can't find a reference to an actual study that supports that. And, no heat is required in many of the new devices that are coming out. I also hate to think of what it might do to an atty, especially if an eliquid contained enough vitamins to make any appreciable difference. Still, whatever floats your boat.

I totally agree, a gimmick! Take your vitamins the old fashioned way. I would think that subjecting the vitamins to the heat of vaporization would probably kill all their value, even if their was any value left it would be miniscule.

Swallowing vitamins renders them generally useless as they are not readily absorbed and most times pass through the body without any effect. Vitamins would be absorbed through Vapor inhalation. Just as Nicotine is absorbed best through inhalation.

The vitamins would not affect taste and soon they should be able to add the basic vitamins C,D,B Complex, E for pennies to ANY flavor.

The vaporable ...... seems like a gimmick though.

Where are you getting your information? Just curious. I notice a big difference when I take my vitamins, especially the B complex. Yes , if your intestines are clogged up as most peoples are over time you will get a limited effect with your vitamin capsules or tablets as to how much the body will absorb. If you are eating a healthy diet (lots of fruits and fresh vegetables) that's a different story.

Inhalation of vitamins is generally accepted as more beneficial than oral intake (swallowing). Vitamins, especially B Complex, D and C are absorbed by the bloodstream much more efficiently.

The general consensus has been that to gain public acceptance and usage of an inhalation procedure would be cost prohibitive. My guess is that smokers are at a distinct advantage when it comes to this conundrum.

We already enjoy the inhalation!

Vitamin Enhanced E-Cigs may become the Health Boom of the Future:cool:

Generally accepted by whom? Supported by evidence from which study? And what about the heat of the atty destroying the value of many/most (not sure which) vitamins?

And I certainly hope manufacturers aren't spouting that kind of thing or our FDA will have a new avenue of attack against our PVs.
