its accured to me after reading many posts on how goverment has been trying to horn in on the
ecig market thru taxes and legislation there is another scapegoat in there crosshairs.
vitamins.
have you noticed all the news articles about vitamins
starting about 6 mounths ago ?
at first the stories were like they may not be as good for you as you thought.
now there down right dangerous and make your cancer grow.
what gives?
taxation and regulation.
i've been telling people for years they will have to tax people for being healthy.
they laughed at me.
since the magority of people that take vitamins are more health consious than than the
average joe i think i'm getting the last laugh.
therefore i think we may have a allie on the other side of the aisle.
some of the very same people who backslapped themselves for putting us
in our place.

regards
mike

Wow. So let me understand.

The formula goes like this: If you don't like something someone says, it must be because they can't tax it or regulate it. So spread the word! That way, we can "program" people's mindsets while we argue against scientific facts (well over 6 YEARS old) that most multi-vitimins make expensive urine? (certain medical conditions excepted)

Yep. Left wing conspiracy for sure. Go buy em en mass! Fight those lefty-truth-sayers. It's the gub-ment!

Pleeeeze. E-cigs...maybe. But it's probably big-corp behind-the-scenes (BT, or BPharma) pulling the strings for e-cigs.

Good try, but I think you can do better. :)

People have been questioning the efficacy and health benefits of supplemental vitamins for a long time. We know the body needs a certain amount, but there's not much evidence that bombarding your body with huge excesses does anything good for you.

Linus Pauling was kind of off his rocker with the vitamin C stuff too. It's a good story. I read about it years and years ago in undergrad, uh... Mid 90s.

What are you talking about? Vitamins not being effective?

The way I see it is vitamins are a supplement, IE you're supposed to supplement your food with it not just take one and say "welp there's my veggies for the day!"

None of which I said. Thx for playing though.

As to cost effectiveness, taxed or not, research it. I take one once in a while as a supplement. I sure don't waste many of my $$$ on em though. I try to get balanced nutrition from food.

I never put words in your mouth, I only asked for clarification. When I was taking them every day and I'm not doing that presently I was only spending $10 a month on them. I also try to get all my nutritional needs from food.
