Vivi Nova as 510 connector?

I don't know how to post on a modding forum, I would if i knew how. Is it something like 5 posts? Or 5 replies?

But on this video DIY E cig mechanical mod connector made from Vivi Nova tank - YouTube the guy uses a vivi nova head, guessing with the coil head removed and grommet and insulator out. Is it wired the same as a 510 connector? Is it safe to try? Thanks for any help guys!

It appears to be wired as an over-sized 510 connector, not sure what would be accomplished by doing it that way. A rer 510 connector is far cheaper than a Vivi.
