I'm not one for modding/cleaning or fiddling with my stuff. I'm more of a use-it-until-it-stops-and-replace-it kind of guy. I just got a Vivi Nova. Assuming i don't clean or maintain the unit in any way, how long can i expect the average atty head to last?

Also, while the 2.4ohm head works fine for me at 4.8v (the highest my vv batt goes to), i haven't tried the 1.8ohm yet. What's the highest voltage you guys would recommend using the 1.8ohm at without damaging it?

My ViVi heads have been lasting forever. As in I got my first ones with the ViVi Nova original and they are still all ok. Never popped a coil yet (knock on wood). I rinse them and dry burn every great once in a while. I have heard others have had a coil break, but the life span is quite good. Minimally a week or two - in my case a month or more.

2nd question about the 1.8 head. I stop at about 4.0 - 4.2 on the 1.8. Any higher for me tastes a little dry - I can taste the wick.

My heads last at least a week, but haven't burned one out yet…just changed for the heck of it.

I only use the 1.8 ohm head, and depending on juice, I use it all the way up to 4.8V, though the current limit on my Twist probably cuts it off around 4.5V and that last little bit doesn't seem to do anything. I threw away my 2.4 ohm and 2.8 ohm heads because the twist won't go high enough to get anything out of them for a lot of my juice (IMO)……and by that, I mean they're sitting in a box waiting for when/if I decide to rebuild them.
