I have 5 vivi nova's so far. One of the older versions and 4 of the new version (v2.5) I've changed heads and cleaned them before but this time I wound up with a new problem. I posted before that the tip of it was getting hot. Like in to hot to vape on. As a member suggested I cleaned it really good and replaced the head. Filled it up and let it soak for about 30 min. Put it on my vmax and the reading for a 2.4 ohm head was 3.2. Then it dropped to 2.2, then up to 3.0, then settled for 2.8. About an hour into it it changed to 2.5 and has stayed there so far. Once again the tip was getting hot. Any one else had this experience? I'm really thinking of going to just the mini's and smok titan. I said before that I liked the stardust but after having 2 of the tubes seperate from the base I'm searching elsewhere for my clearo's. I like the idea of the smok titan but I like the size of the mini nova's. The size of the stardust was perfect to carry in my pen pocket at work and I still have 5 of them and a bunch of heads so I'll continue to use em till they all break. I'm really not ruff on my pv's. Suggestions?

Have you tried the nova on another batt?
My wife likes a cooler vape and uses around 2.4 ohm heads at 3.5v or less on a non-pwm batt.
This certain one does it on everything I put it on and it doesn't matter what voltage I use. I've gone from 3.0 up to 4.2. Same thing each time.

That little silicone could be down to far. I noticed also that there are two different sides to that. One side the metal piece has a bevel and that goes down. Or it does on mine. Have you tried a dry burn? A build up on the coil would cause less vapor maybe more heat.
I have only had mine a few days so Maybe i have that to look forward to. Someone also suggested cotton wicks. But you have to have the resistor wire (32 gauge) I am preparing myself to do that when they crap out. I have a spread sheet to calculate the length of wire needed for a certain ohms reading. All you need to know is the ohms per feet or per meter. ]
I hope that is not a caviat of the vv. I like is so far. Hope I miss out on that problem.

Correction on the little silicone thingy on the top. The metal piece needs to go bevel side up.

Do you find that they suck up juice like crazy?
It's because they really DO NOT hold 2mls... it lies. Said in another thread, I can get about 30 drops of juice in the mini, the T2 which is supposed to be 2.4 holds at least 65 drops. So one of them is wrong and i think it is the mini.

Lol. Well, right or wrong, I think the overall performance of the vivi mini is pretty darn good. I have never gone so far as to count drops, but I always carry my small bottle with me in my kit. I dont mind refilling them that much. They work better for me than the t2.
I count drops as a habit. I use thick juices so the only way I can fill either of them is a drop at a time. Otherwise the juice just clogs the top and the juice spills down the side of the tank. I think the thick juice fills the space around the center tube and blocks the air flow.
Had to explain, I'm really not that .......
