It seems the Vivi Nova I bought is having a hard time keeping up with my chain vaping,I will get some flavorless hits and some degeneration of vap the more I use it.But if I leave it alone for about 10min and come back I get taste and more vap.And yes I do twirl it around a little to keep wicks saturated,is this normal for the vivi??

I assume you're using the stock coil and wick that came with the Vivi Nova? I don't know if you're into rebuilding, but I re-coiled and re-wicked my Vivi Nova heads with 40-string cotton cheesecloth wrapped with 33 gauge Kanthal A-1. The wicking is fantastic. If you're interested, Quigsworth posted a great how-to video on YouTube ... I think that'll go a long way to solving your problems. The cheesecloth wicks suck up all the juice right down to the last drop in the tank, and no dry hits at all ... and until the last 1/2 ml or so, I never have to do the Tilt-A-Whirl swirl to keep the wicks saturated.

I've some times chain vape a vivi nova for a little while, put it in my pocket, and secretly pull out a different vivi nova two seconds later, and chain vape that one, and then secretly swap in my pocket again.....

Always have a back up.

Are you using short or long wick? Maybe try trimming them if long wick?

I don't get nasty hits, i just feel the device getting warm, and swap.

Whats the PG/VG ratio of your juice? PG wicks better and is a better flavor carrier. I use a 70/30 mix and it work great.

Lol same thing here. Well not the pocket thing. I do use switch every 4 or 5 drags with a backup vivi

One more thing I just noticed. Since it has been getting chilly lately. I put my provari on a glass shelve unit next to me. The unit gets quite cold and so does my provari with the juice in it. I just picked it up now and realized that the juice was "syrupie" and I just got a dry hit. Left it upsidedown for a few and helped it.
Just an fyi

I knew the question was coming,Its 100% Vg.But I will be switching over to pg.The wicks won't be ruined by vg will they??? If I change in a day or 2 to a Pg mix will it be O.K???

SS mesh? In a Vivi Nova?

I've done it. It works.

Also, uhh…trim & fluff your wicks. Unless you're not breathing air, it should keep up. Maybe you just chain-vape way more intensely than I do, but if I turned off the AC in my car, I wouldn't be able to see out of the windshield within minutes. And it keeps up with me just fine (trimmed & fluffed stock wick or SS Mesh).

My vivis can handle my chain vaping, though I have to dial the voltage down. 1.8 heads at 3.0v and they have no issues with my 30-40/70-60 PG/VG mixes. If I dial up to ~3.2-3.4v I start to get funky hits on long draws.

It may also just be this head, my wifes 1.8o on her LT is going fine at 3.4v. We're also using different juices, mines darker (coffee and a chocolate) hers is a light one (fruit).

I really want to use someone else's vivi nova. I'm starting to think I'm the weirdo. I run my 1.8 ohm heads at 4.8V…they keep up with chain vaping…it's warm & intense……but it's basically never burnt……and I don't remember the last time I got a dry hit.

I had one of my 1.8 ohm heads (reading 2.2 ohms) on Rnoserious's Provari at like 5.7V before it tasted burnt. At 5.5V, it was delicious.

I really think that I've somehow got some mystical vivi novas with wicks made out of unicorn hair or something, because I just can't reproduce other people's results. Either that or PWMgate is worse than I thought.
