Hello everyone! This is my first post on ECF, but I've been reading up for the past two months or so. I've been smoking for approximately 20 years anywhere from one to two packs a day of cigarettes and I've had times were I've switched to cigars and such. I'm happy to say I haven't touched an analog for the two months I've been vaping! No desire to either. On to the important part of my post.

I recently received a Vision Spinner 1100mah and Vision Vivi Nova 2.5 from Gotvapes, which I must say, their customer service is awesome! Well I've been going through all the methods you guys have suggested for cleaning the heads. Well I just wanted to show you guys a couple of pictures of the Vivi Nova heads using just rinsing compared to a rinse followed by a dry burn.

This first picture is the result of one weeks worth of vaping the vivi head just rinsing a couple of times without a dry burn. You'll see that it's totally gunked up.

This picture is the second vivi head I used, but dry burning after every cleaning. Not perfect, but seems much better.

Not sure if this means much, but just thought I'd share.

Take care and keep vaping!

Vivi user here. I warm water rinse after every 1 - 2 tanks. Dry overnight then dry burn every time (you can rotate heads so you don't have to wait for them to dry). I don't lean on the button. 2 seconds on - off- 2 seconds on -off - 2 seconds on - off until all the wraps are glowing and I stop. Don't want to sit with it glowing and admiring your work. Get the gunk burnt off and get out of there. I haven't had any trouble doing it this way.

Yep. Hot water and a dry burn keeps them clean, so long as you clean them often. There's no need for PGA or Vodka or boiling or anything like that.

I'm still using my first head, I'm going on 1 month with it. I recommend a second rinse after the dry burn to get rid of any debris left over from the dry burn. I just lightly blot the wicks with a paper towel and put it right back into service.

I simply blow off the wick after the dry burn and prime it with juice before refilling. I might not inhale the first two pulls but even that isn't always necessary. That said, your way is more thorough, albeit one more step.

I very much agree that a second rinse is a good idea. I forgot to rinse after dry burning my Vivi Nova once. Blech! I got an "off" burned taste even though the coils weren't all that dirty. Rinsing fixed it completely.

It might not be necessary to rinse it, it's just my personal preference. The whole process takes 2 minutes at the most. I have to say the Vivi has been the best overall delivery system I have tried to this point.

I agree. The "dip and twirl" thing can be a little annoying, but beyond that I can't complain about much of anything else. Easy clean, easy fill, good vapor, good taste, what's not to like.

The tilting aspect is annoying to some, I'm sure. I vape horizontally, so even that is not a factor me. I have decided to stock up with a few spare tanks and just wait until the RBA market evolves more.

These things are easier to rebuild than most rebuildables.

So I've heard. Maybe I should read some of those vivi rebuilding threads. Part of the reason I want a high end RBA is asthetic. The vivi is not bad with a metal tank, but it leaves me wanting more. Maybe I'm shallow.
