I just received my vivi nova 3.5 ml along with my 510 thread for the ecab. I do not really care if you think the ecab sucks. I love it, I hate the bigger ecigs and will not use them. I am not new to ecigs, but I am new to the vivi nova. I filled it once and it worked perfectly, better than using those ego c attys. But when I went to fill it I took the rubber piece of the top because I wondered what it was. I then put it back on and filled it up and now I get no vapor at all. The battery is not dead, I have changed the battery to make sure and I also checked the old way with the ego c atty and the plastic tank for the ecab. When I went back to the original setup it worked fine. I do not know anything about the vivi nova so I dont know what I did wrong, came with zero instructions so if I ever wanted to change the atty I probably could not put it back together. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

That little rubber thing with the metal in it? If so, you might have it on upside down. The flat metal goes towards the bottom, the 'nippled' (lack of a better description) goes towards the top. Try flipping it and see what happens.
Check to make sure that the center pin on the underside of the carto connection is not pushed way up. If it is an older version of the vivi nova tank it does not have a spring loaded center pin which ensures good positive connection. you can lightly press in on two sides of the center pin to jiggle it back out to the normal position. once you have it back to normal position just don't overtighten it onto the battery. My wife overtightens her vivi tanks all the time and is cussing at me because she thinks her passthrough has stopped working....then I pull the center pin back out and screw it back on and it works normally. Also, there are great vids on cleaning the vivi tank replacement heads for re-use.
Also, maybe too obvious, but check that the head didn't come unscrewed when you too the tank top off. It does that sometimes, so tighten it down if so.
I appreciate everyones help since I am new to the vivi nova. I had the top rubber piece on upside down and when I unscrewed the top to refill I am guessing that that unscrewed the atty. So I am good to go now. Thank you very much
