I am not an expert (at all) on e-cab, but these sort of e-cigs seem to use their own type of atomiser and tank fitting, the purpose of which confuses the heck out of me, I must say.
However, in theory, a battery should fit any device IF you have the correct adapter.
ecab and elips are fairly small e-cigs (?) and a Kanger Protank is a fairly large glass/metal clearomiser. It might work, but it won't be a thing of beauty. I would say rather than trying to make two systems work together, it might be worth getting a regular "ego" battery with 510/ego fitting and use that instead. Ego batteries are available now for under $10 and my recommendation would be to take that route.

The eCab to 510 adapter does work very well. I use an eCab fo work. It only has so much juice in the battery, but should work fine. I use the anyvape for quick refill., no problems.

I use the ecab w/510 adapter and Kanger horizontal carts for a small, sleek look when out and about. If you haven't done so already, pick up some efest 10440 batteries for the ecab. They perform much better than the joytechs that come with it.
Just a quick update: I works great on the ecab with the ecab->510 adapter. It looks kinda goofy, but if you add a 510->ego adapter on top of the ecab->510 adapter, then you can use the ego beauty ring that comes with the tank.
