Vivi Nova Leaking 3.5ml

Hey all, so here is my problem. I recently purchased the Vivi Nova 3 in 3.5ml. I have loved it thus far, until today when I came home from work and my juice was leaking out somehow. I sit my Nova up right in the foam that it came in, it seems that it could be coming from the bottom. When I blew on my drip tip like you do to a Cartos, juice splattered out the end as if it was flooded. This is weird because I haven't used it or tipped it over. It always stays up right. I emptied out my tank washed and cleaned everything and made sure all the parts where put back together properly. I vaped for a couple of hours, sat the tank back in my temporary foam tank holder as mentioned before, and again it started to leak. I am a little aggravated due to the fact that my favorite juice is being wasted by the leak. Any solutions, or is anyone else having this problem? I am still new to vaping and this is my first tank system, I want to make sure this isn't a operator error, before I take it back down to madvapes. Help?

Also anyone out there using the Artemas Locking 510 DCT from madvapes? I am thinking about picking one up this weekend and wanted to get some oppinions.

I had a similar issue with my new vivi last week and I found out that that little rubber condom with the metal insert had gotten pulled up a bit and was letting juice into the center post air channel. I used a tiny flat head to push the center metal part of that condom thing down tight against the center post and my problem was solved. I think that metal part had wiggled upwards in that condom and juice was getting in when I tipped the tank to wet the wicks. Hopefully this will help you because it was driving me nuts for a couple of days.

Also, look out for the head (coil) unscrewing. After loosening the cap for refills a few times, it can unscrew a bit leaving a gap for juice to slip through. I only mention this because it happened to me the other day after weeks of thinking the tank would never leak.

That's exactly what happened to me last week. I just screwed the head down and all was fine again.

Two things to look for:

The metal sleeve inside the the clear silicone cover. If you examine the sleeve from both ends it has a flat side and a "bowl" side. It needs to be installed with the bowl facing up.
I use the end of a chopstick to gently push the flat side of the sleeve to the far end of the tube. Then I put the tube thing onto the head, pushing gently to allow the top of the head to push the sleeve back into the tube, making as close a fit as possible.

The other thing to look for is the screw cap that goes on top of the tank and holds the drip tip. It forms a seal with the top of the tube thing, keeping juice from the tank from dumping into the atomizer if you tilt the whole thing back. If your center post is out of alignment, the top of the tube thing won't seal against the screw cap.
I've had to tweak on the center post a bit to get it to align a little better on one of my tanks.

If the atomizer is flooded, you'll have to blow on it like you said and dab up the juice that is coming out of the bottom. Sometimes I get a flood when I refill, and have to fire the atty for a bit to burn off the excess. (it will bubble and gurgle and you definitely don't want to try and vape when it's doing that, lest you might get some juice in your mouth).

This is as fussy as this system gets. If your center post has good alignment, and the sleeve inside that tube thing is seated well against the head, should have no troubles.

My experiences..

IF it is a Vision Vivi the little silicone tip can go on two ways. The metal piece in the center has a flat side and a cone shape side. Cone side up flat side down. Also the plastic in them can crack in the threaded areas. I had the full size do that. Some really caustic juice will cause the plastic to change shape and it will leak. Finger tight on the threads. I have yet to have a metal tank leak. Just the clear when it cracked over time. I'm pretty rough on them.
