I was newbie just a week ago and now I've done my first cleaning and dry burn of the vivi nova 2.5, I feel I'm ready to step it up to the next level. I want to be able to rebuild my heads from now on. I feel that the stock 2.4 ohm head work the best for me so what wire should I use for the coil and where do I buy it?

For the wick, I want silica or other nonflammable wick. I don't want to use cotton since I can't dry burn with that.

Please guide me to the right stuff I need and where to buy them.

Thanks

wow, didn't know silica (the default wick that came with the vivi nova) can be dangerous.

That is why I linked you to that, I personally use cotton. And ok I can't dry burn it, but it takes me all of 3 to 4 minutes to pull the head make a new coil and get it back on the vivi nova. Making dry burning of it kinda pointless.

Had recent success with cotton gauze, dollar store, and 34 gage nichrome 60 from http://jacobs-online.biz100ft for 8$ Kept getting a burnt hit at random with the silica wick at most thickness, even with a cotton overlay,nr legs, double wraped legs, Burnt! Nasty. Cotton, nice, more flavour, consistant, never dry, no flood, hit after hit, I wasnt going to buy anouther vivi til I got this one working to my pleasure, well its working and I ordered 2 more, from Got Vapes
