Vivi Nova "Replacement Heads" confusion.

Well I found that I enjoy the low res 18ohm heads moreso than the 2.4 or 2.8, so I ordered a 3 pack replacement (don't want to fiddle with rebuilding just yet). I received the heads, but they have this "giraffe neck" feature that wasn't in my original Vivi Nova. I don't know exactly how to explain it, but I'll try.

On my Vivi default head, the "top-most" piece is the plastic tube part that has a metal piece in there (the part you avoid while refilling). This is where the 'giraffe neck' is on my new piece. Rather than being a ~.25 inch plastic tube, it is a good inch or two tall, and sticks out of my tank completely. There is no screwing it off, there is no removing it, its just how its built. I can tell because its metal, and is directly connected to the bottom base of the head.

What in the world did I order?

Yes, it is an undefinable part deemed perfectly by you as the giraffe neck...it gets gunked up and is generally perceived as evil but wash it, cradle it and it will return the favor I promise...

Dude get a kanger protank on 3/15 like me and be done w/ the damn vivi nova's....

What you have sounds like a clone head and not a genuine vision. Did you get them from the same place? Do you have a pic?

I happen to love my novas have been using the same ones for at least 6mos with rebuilding the heads.

Sounds like a Kanger or Stardust head and not a nova one. Perhaps you selected the wrong parts or they mis-shipped.

I agree that it sounds like you either ordered the wrong part or they sent you the wrong thing. Try contacting them and get it worked out. But, when you do order Vision Vivi Nova replacement heads, be sure that they are from VISION. There are a lot of knockoffs for the vivi novas out there and I haven't heard good things about them at all.

No issues so far with flavor on the Nova, besides the one time I went way overboard on the 'dry burn' and had to re-clean it. I'm not sure if I'd be a fan of bottom coil tanks, as I love a good warm vape. Who knows though, I may venture out eventually. Was thinking of trying out some genesis-type products after seeing some of pbsurado's reviews, but I'm pretty broke atm.

See though, in that picture its a standard sized head with no 'giraffe neck'. On the first of three pictures they have, you see where that little plastic piece is? Right on top there and around 1/4 of an inch? Yeah, on mine both the metal and the plastic tubing extend a good inch or two more than that picture.

Its definitely a Vision product, as that vendor has sold me nothing but legit Vision products thus far, including the 1300mah battery and two tanks. I checked my order info after logging on to their site, and without a doubt they I ordered the replacement heads that I had previously linked.

If it's around an inch it's a Kanger head. The nova heads are 1/4 inch or so from top to bottom. They will never fit or work with a nova tank email them and tell them what happened, and you will know more. I notice they sell Kangar tanks and heads so there was a miscommunication somewhere. They will all say vision, it's nova vs Kangar or Stardust that you are looking for.

Edit might even say T3 or T2 they won't work.

The replacement heads with the protruding top piece don't look like any heads I've used. Could be knockoffs. I haven't used that supplier but would contact them about it.

Ok that helps alot. I assume they just messed up when packaging the product. The ziploc it came in even says Vision Nova Replacement Heads, so I guess someone just placed the wrong heads in the bag and shipped it out. I'll email them and let them know.

Precisely. Thats what I ordered too, even says so in my "Order List" on my account info in their website. Stuff happens though, hopefully they'll help me sort it out.

Tells you right in the description they are for the VT tanks and not novas. Email them and explain it to them and you guys will have to do some trading. Something got messed up between order and shipping. Someone somewhere is cursing that they got Nova heads.
