Hi guys I recently got my vivi nova not even a week ago and It's been vaping fine and dandy but I just recently had a issue that made it leak from the inner post down to the bottom of the PV and pool up some juice on my vamo. I'll show you exactly what I mean...

this is the head from the kit with a new silicon gasket that makes the connection to the metal top cap:

and this is this is what it looks like after putting on the metal cap on the vivi,

the gasket itself feels too loose to hold the metal cap in place and seems to be the cause of it leaking. Have any of you guys run into this problem? How did you fix it? I mean it's only been less than a week since I have been using this PV vaping around 3-4mL a day and this is already failing, and I haven't been tightened it so tight either, just barely finger tight.

Hi. I never experience any of this problem before when using my vivi. Maybe you can try cut the silicon cap a bit so it can sit nicely on the middle ring. Its just a suggestion but you may seek advice from someone who encounter same problem as yours.

Oddly enough, I've tried cutting it a hair shorter as well but it seems like the silicone gasket was a bit loose still. I've taken the new one off the 2.8 head and so far no leaks, but I don't know if it's only going to last me another week then this one fails like the previous gasket.:(

In your picture it seems to me that you have pushed the silicone sleeve too far down the head, in the direction of the battery. The sleeve should just touch the top of the white wicks. When you say 'metal top cap', do you mean the little one in the silicone sleeve? That needs to be in there and the sleeve is going to hold it in place. It also needs to be the right way around, not upside down.

What I typically do is place the metal cap in the sleeve, place the sleeve on the head not touching the wicks (so not pushed on far enough), push the metal cap in so it is touching the top of the head and finish assembling it. This will cause the sleeve to position itself correctly.

Sorry, I mean the actual top nova cover that holds the drip tip that seals off the vivi. I'm not sure if it's because I chain vape or not, but the silicone sleeve actually felt loose compared to a new one that I pulled off the 2.8 head. Could it be the possibility since I chain vape with the constant heat and cool down be making the silicone sleeve loose? The second photo I posted was just an example what it looks like with when the Top is getting screwed on, it physically pushes that sleeve further down the head.

Got it. The silicone sleeve will not change from heat cycling. A sleeve that is wet with juice will be slippery and feel loose compared to a dry one. Water does not make it slippery.

Did you try change with another 510 drip tip..? Seems like your drip tip pushes the silicon cap downwards when you trying to screw in the top cap.. Try screw the top cap first, then plug in the drip tip.. See if the drip tip is pushing down the silicon or not..

The drip tip does not touch the silicone sleeve.

I have that exact same problem with my vivi novas. Not sure why it happens. It seems like when screwing the "lid" on the tank the sleeve gets off center from being sqwished down. My method for fixing is....remove the tip before screwing the lid on so you can watch the sleeve. If the sleeve gets off centered I use a toothpick to straighten it back up so it will seal. Hope this makes sense and helps you a little.

Yeah, If the silicon sleeve doesn't seal to the cap, juice can leak over the top and down through the post. If you have the cap from the other head try that one to see if it fixes the problem. It also looks like the head is not screwed on the post all the way. The o-ring around the threading should not be visible when screwed on all the way.
