By far the best tank system I have used is to put the tank below the carto.
You can even use shorty 1.7 ohm cartos
Is that the Chinese Mini Reo already?
The new iClear30 is fantastic, and after one day I declare it as the very best clearomizer money can buy. Fantastic taste for a clearo and very nice build.
Blix, i cant find them anywhere, where are you getting them?
He bought his in Europe. Available in Spain?, U.K. Should be released here any day and I read they were shipped out on the 16 or so to vendors.

If you like Totally Wicked's products, try the dual coil cartomizer tanks. They come in 3.5ml and 6ml and lots of colors. They are a bit more expensive than other tanks out there ($16.99 3ml/ $19.99 6ml) but they are made with the polyproylene, which is more durable and has fewer issues with eliquids. I have two of these tanks and have used nothing else for the past year and a half. I've dropped them several times, used a variety of liquids, and never had a single problem with cracking, melting, or leaking. I really like them. I use the dual coil pre-punched cartomizers that TW has for them and get around 2-3 weeks out of them depending on how dark my liquid is. And I LOVE TW's yoyo pricing, you can get a good deal if you watch the yoyos!
I have some of these single coil, dual punched showing up from them on Monday in fact.
For me (and it may have just been the Smoktech's I had from MyVaporStore at the time) -- I get much better absorbant rates with Boges than I did Smoktechs. If I could keep em wet, they were fine (though leaked with those crappy low end smoktech tanks -- ahh beginners purchases) but keeping them wet meant frequent hard dry sucks to rewick.
That said, I've never had much luck with traditionally punched cartos and my 100% VG juices... but have great luck with the lasercut Boges from ElectronicStix... YMMV.
I have the same issue with the single holed ones from MVS, while is why I ordered the others, though the U-DCT tank from MVS hasn't leaked a bit. Great tank and really nice looking. If the new ones aren't better, where can I get the Boges - which one's fit? And are they dual punched, single coil?

I'm quite certain that tank requires 45mm XL size cartomizers. So any Boge XL, Smoktek, or Ikenvape mega (with 510 connection, not the ones with 801 connectors) will work. The above list has short descriptions of what the vendors sell in addition to direct links to their website.

I have had excellent reaults from the Smokek single coil flanged and drilled with 2 holes. I use the 3 ohm ones. It kinda bugs me that it seems everytime I've asked about flanged & drilled cartomizers, the person always assumes I want Dual coil.... Even if I specify single coil when I ask for them. I start getting told about what they prefer, I don't care just give me what I asked for please...
I have had MUCH better results with the single coil variety, too.
Thank you, great blog post! Do you know if all flanged cartos are flat on two sides (to fit the UDCT)? Pictures I've seen are deceiving.

I can't say for certain about that. I know most if not all of Smoktech's carts have a flange. I have seen some Boges made with a flange, too, but I don't know if they are flat on both sides...I would think they would be.
Boge F16 cartos are the newer design they're offering with the flange -- as far as I know its identical to the flange on the Smoktechs, for all intents and purposes (might make a full loop of the carto vs being 2 separate flanges -- but they're designed to fit the same recesses in tanks)

They're brand spankin' new, and currently appear to be temporarily tough to get. DiscountVapers is one of the sites selling them, but they've been out for a few days now. Not sure if anyone's currently got them in stock, actually. Hopefully someone else will chime in with other options
Dual coil, parallel, ~2.0 ohms final readout. each coil is wound in the 4 ohm range.
