Vivi nova with a P+

I just received my P+ today,After it toured the entire state of MN..
I had the post raised..All My Vivi Nova work fine..as well as anything else I put on it..
The tanks sit a lil higher..But the small gap i'snt a problem to me.

That is good feedback to hear. I figured raising it about .010 would do the trick. Can't guarantee it will cure all as the quality control on some products I have no control over, but it should cure most of them.

I was wondering if you would be willing to "Slot" the top of my cap if I send it in for a "height" adjustment?
Unless of course, it would be raised enough, so that "slotting" would not be needed?

Dave. I just recieved and polished up my 18350 and love it as I have your other devices we have purchased. I have a question about the locking button which is great accept for the fact that it turns making it a huge hassle to lock on the go. Is there a way to make that sucker not turn?

Just a thought but i purchased the stiffer spring and it creates more pressure on the button.

It will still turn but not as easy. I find it holds its position alot better for me and i set it up with 4 washer and its perfect. I can lock and unlock without even looking.

Oy, now I see this whole thread about the Vivi issue...are there new style slotted/raised pin caps available for my precious P+16340? Because that would rock.

I am using a mini vivi nova on a p+18350 right now. My fix is to NOT screw the vivi nova down TIGHT to the flat top on my P+. My airflow is fine, it draws & hits just like a precise should.

I agree with the others that say the vivi novas are hit & miss with quality control. I had one that wouldn't make contact with anything at all (vision brand) on over 10 mods. Luckily the vendor I purchased them from sent me a replacement. The replacement works fine.

I've been using a vivi nova on my 18350 flat top, (waiting for a hellfire mini) its been working great. I really didn't expect to like it nearly as much as I do. I also had ground down the centre post on the vivi so that it was flat with the threads for use on another mod and it still works great. My vv/VW mods are in retirement since receiving my p+, and only one type of hybrid is seeing any use... just absolutely love the p+.
