I seem to be having the same issue with my P+ 16340. It doesn't fire with most of my atties. I've tried Spheroid, Ti Bliss, Nahual etc. Some of these have adjustable positive pin, which can be made to protrude more from the bottom connector, but not all. It fires fine with 510 atties, which have a positive post that sticks out quiet a bit. I think the positive post in the P+ sits pretty low and isn't making contact. Is there any way to raise the positive post in the top cap? Any suggestions?

Vivi Nova are notoriously known to have contact problems. The build on the connection is very inconsistent. Some are longer, some are wider, etc. I had 4 at one time and some would work fine on my Saber Touch and some didnt. I had to fiddle with the VN center post/pin to make them work. I rather ruin a VN than ruin the connection on my PV by trying to over-screw to make contact.
We've been installing the center posts a bit higher for awhile now and can press out your old one and press it in to the new specs.
