I've been using the same Vivi Nova with eGO batteries for about a year. I've replaced the batteries and the wick things that screw on top but I'm noticing that I'm not getting the same perfomance that I used to. It's gradually been going down.

My question is does the Vivi Nova part actually wear out and should it be replaced? Or it there something else I should try?

I'm pretty certain the batteries are not the problem.

Thanks in advance...

One thing that I've noticed with the Vivi, is that the center pin can get pushed up over time (and eventually get to where it doesn't get a good connection on the battery). Another is that you have to get the top cap snug, but not too tight. When I put the top cap on too tight, it either gives meh hits or doesn't fire at all. I never looked into the why on that, I just played with it until it worked.

I have 2 Vivi Nova tanks. They are completely different from one another, and the atomizer from one will not work in the other. So you have to look closely at the bottom of the atomizer, some are coned all the way to the point, and some cone down a bit and then are flattened out. Also the atomizer come in varying ohms, so a low resistance coil might not work with a smaller battery as well. I have a Nemesis with an 18650 2800mA battery and it hits like the day I bought it.

I would clean the coil and dry burn the coil till it glow red for a few seconds to get the gunk off it. Take the base with no tank and put the coil on and remove the rubber grommet. Then dry burn till red. Put grommet on and tank back on. Then fill and enjoy. It might take a couple puffs to get it started too.
