Vk cartomizer...change in design????

I have been using my VK for 4 days now and have gone through 4 cartos. I have juice on the way but I am still using the pre-filled ones until the juice gets here.
I have watched many videos on cleaning and filling so I think I am well informed on how to do it.
So I decided to pop the top off one of the cartos to see just how to do this when the juice comes..Here's where the confusion kicks in!!!!
Every video I have watched there are two pieces in the mouthpiece part of the carto...the white mouthpiece and a clear piece underneath. When I took the ones that I have apart all that is there is the white mouthpiece. It also looks alot thicker than all the ones I have seen in the videos. NO clear piece at all. Is this the norm with the pre-filled ones? I would think they would all be the same. Did V4L change the design?

I think the videos are showing the older, hard tip cartos. The VK kits these days come with the newer soft tip, that doesn't need the 2nd soft rubber ring. Mine are the same way as yours.

Oh good..Thought maybe something was wrong. Also thought I was well educated about them and the minute I popped it open it all went out the window...lol

yes all newer cartos have the one rubber ring. Some of the samples that V4L has sent me, have the older hard cap. those are the two piece caps with ring.
