VMax Battery Question

I'm considering buying a Smoktech VV VMax, but after reading the configuration...2 x 18350 batts I'm a bit concerned. Isn't that "stacking", which I've read that is advised against?

Stacking is considered not safe but if you are using AW IMR 18350 red jacket they are about as safe as you can get. I stack these all the time in my Vmax and have not had any problems. The are safe chemistry batts and can handle the load of a vmax.
