vmax burns all my juices!

I have really tried hard to like the vmax, but I really don't like it. Of course the Provari is better, but so is the ego or the ego twist vv! The vmax burns way too hot all the time.

I'm sorry to hear that. PBusardo over at tasteyourjuice.com had a review of the vmax and says that for some reason all the voltage settings on the vmax seems to be way higher than what it displays. He had to turn the voltage way down to get it at the same vape as some of the other tubes.

What ohm atty/carto/clearos are you using? I think that may be a factor. I'm using 2.0 ohms on my Twist and keep it around 3.7-4.0 for excellent vaping. Maybe you need 3.0 ohms?

Voltage over 3.7V runs a risk of burning LR single coil cartos. Why not just use a SR carto in the region of 3.0 ohms for voltage higher than 3.7V?

3 ohm or higher cartomizers/attys only on Vmax. With each new carto/atty, always start out at 3.0V and work your way up until you get that sweet spot. The voltage output on the vmax typically seems much higher than what it's actually set at. I rarely find myself going above 4.2V with most juices (always in a 3 ohm Carto).

I had a Vmax and I wasn't happy with it.

First, It did run "Hotter" for any given Voltage compared to my other VVPV's. This I could handle. I just had to dial everything Back about .3 volts

But the thing I couldn't handle was that randomly it would reset itself to 5.0 volts. Very annoying to be calmly vaping away at 4.2 volts and then suddenly getting a Horrible Burnt Hit.

Tried Different Batteries but nothing worked. Just ended up tossing it and moving on.

I am pretty much done with my vmax. I don't really know what I have on it. I just know that I have tried the same tank on other mods, and they are fine. Maybe I am just a baby, but I really don't care for it. I can switch the tanks around, including the silver bullet, and it tastes better to me. I am not going to toss it, but I am not going to use it anymore.
