I have a VMAX battery that I've been using for about 1 month. After my normal maintenance, I put the entire set back together and I got a F2 message on the LCD. Ive been getting this lately after cleaning and reassembling. After loosening some parts like the tank and the connection the message disappeared and I saw the voltage out put like normal, 4.0. I tested it again and saw 4.0, and just then SMOKE starts pouring out from the button and the LCD, I mean a LOT of smoke. I scrambled to get the batteries out and it stopped. I put the batteries back in carefully and now the LCD is bankers, only parts of the screen light up. I have removed the batteries and are afraid to use the devise. ANYONE heard of this happening? Thanks

Yes, agreed. I returned to where I bought the VMAX, and explained what happened. After testing my Kanger Tech coil, it seems it had a dead short, and burned up the VMAX. So it would seem. He traded me straight across for a VAMO V2. SUPER VAPES in Lakewood Wa. is a stand up place. The owner is a great guy. Its the 2nd time he has done right by a bad product.
