Vmax with dual coil Genesis style tank

Anyone have trouble with the 1.3 ohms limit? My solution was to run the coil itself in series. The problem I'm having is 1 coil seems to be getting hotter than the other and battery drain. My coil and ss mesh coil experience is limited I have had some hot spots but I did not know if that would cause battery to drain quickly seems like it would

use smaller gauge more resistant wire?

Yep yep yep. I would use NR wire between the two could and slightly higher Res wire on the coils to compensate for your "bridge"
