So, having never tried dual coils (except dual coil cartos, wasn't a fan) I'm just curious why I should be looking to do it. I guess it would help to explain what I normally vape:
Reo Grand, Reomizer 2, .8 ohm micro coil, cotton wick.
Aga-T2(or similar Genesis) on a mech, about .6 ohms, SS Cable or SS Mesh wick.
Now, I can see why it would be silly on the reo grand, just too little space to work in.
But the AGA-T2. Plenty of space in there, and the holes are already made. For me to get a dual coil at the ohms I currently vape at, I would make (2) 1.2 ohm coils, right?
I'm not trying to knock dual coils, as I've tried a couple dual coil builds at vape meets and they were outstanding, but I'm just looking for an actual educated response. More VTF? Purer? Better response, what?
I understand the notions of vaping safely(eg battery safety, shorts/hotspots, all that good stuff). If I were to do this, should I try parallel coils, should I try 2 wicks dual coil, U-wick dual coil, what to do? I've just been on this single coil beat for so long that I really don't know where to start.
