vodka = flavor?

So i have found for my heavy vaping I enjoy vg more. ive got 100mg nic in pg and flavors in pg. I dilute to 24mg with vg so im about 80/20 im guessing. the flavor with so much vg seems dampened. does diluting the mixture with water or vodka do anything other than thin it? maybe carry the flavor a little? it makes sense a thinner fluid would wick better hence more flavor but is there more to it than that? and what % can I add water or vodka before the vapor starts to suffer?

In my experience the culprit has been the VG. It seems to, without fail, drown out flavor and throat hit. I avoid using, and buying, anything with more than 20% VG for this reason.

I expected less flavor with the vg but I like the cool thick vapor. I was hoping to find out if vodka or H20 carry the flavor when added to the vg. sorry.

I'm sorry, I did mean to add that it probably won't help. Mostly it'll just make it thinner, but the alcohol does add a nice snap, crackle and pop when it hits the hot atty coil!
