I will not be using their services again. Their costumer service is great and any problems I have had with equipment or orders was dealt in a quick and timely manner. Very well done and a good company in that regard. If I lived in Hawaii they would definitely be my only vendor. I was actually about to post a positive review for them over the last issues they corrected for me.

However, I was not able to get onto my their website for several days and wanted to order some products. I called their customer service number. Again very good customer service. Stated the items I would like, gave my number, she read it back, and placed the order. Done Deal! Later on that day several purchases made in Hawaii popped up on my credit card and my bank notified me. I had to cancel the card because it had been compromised. Either Volcano has very dishonest people working for them, or the customer service member read the number back in a way that someone overheard it. Either that or their phone lines are far from secure.

I asked to be deleted from their system as I will never be using them again and will discourage others from doing so.

I am sorry to hear this but I can guarantee our phone lines are secure, and there is no way some one over heard this conversation. Our phone CS reps are in a private office where no one but them are in, as well as they are in their own cubical's set apart so you can not hear other conversations going on. Our phone staff is a very small number of people and we are 100% confident none of our staff would have taken your number and used it or would have given it out to anyone.

Our site is also secure and we do not store any credit card info in our databases for security reasons.

Once again I am sorry to hear this has happened, and that you feel we are the cause of it. We are confident that this was not due to us at all, and that if anything it was a coincidence that the other charges where made in HI.
