I just ordered the Volt $65 starter kit, with the PCC, and also got the small USB charger. I didn't buy the AC Adaptor as I'm in Australia and it won't work here.

So, I wondered if I can use my ipod AC Adaptor (mains) and plug the USB into it, if I don't have a PC switched on to charge it?

Their service so far has been so great. Shipped really fast, and they are super friendly, so I can't wait to get this kit in my hot little hands. :)

Thanks guys. Glad I can charge it in the ipod adaptor. :)

I'm in QLD too MegaBee. I was going to ask this in the OZ forum, but then thought here might be better, and it was!

I haven't got my order yet, so I can't tell you that, but they got it away really fast, and I took express, so I hope maybe Tuesday I will receive it. Literally, CAN NOT wait.

MegaBee, I'm on the northside of Brisbane, but don't hate me now lol. :p

Which ship option do you usually take? I took the dearest express one so I can get the kit quickly, but then thought if I plan correctly, I can order well in advance and just take the cheaper postage option.

Do you use their pre-filled cartos, or their juice, or something else entirely? :)

I got the long manual battery, and the short auto so I have one of each (plan to buy more later), to work out which one I like better.

I also took the most expensive option for postage on my first order, but then I found out my order was on hold because they had ran out of an item in stock, Imagine quickly fixed that!! It does make a difference to pay the most expensive but I dont do it anymore. I gave up on the short batteries as they were only lasting me 45mins to an hour at most. I much prefer the 78mm sealed autos! They last me most of the day at work but on weekends if Im at computer playing I still get up to 2.5 to 3 hours. I started out with 2 78mm and one shorty. Now all I buy is 78's and Im still buying them because I love the pretty skins so I decorate them all and have each battery dedicated to a flavour hahahaha!! ( I know I hope you dont end up like me) I use the prefilled carts and top up with their juices. If you get a flavour you like from SI its cheaper as you basically get 5ml of juice free by buying the prefilled and I think the cartomizers last a bit longer as they are correctly filled and then easy to top up. I highly recommend their gear but as you know taste is very personal so try all their prefilled first and they buy the juice if you find one you like.

Mine is now in Australia, going through customs. I'm glad Imagine sorted your first order out MegaBee.

I ordered the new regulated, sealed auto, so I'll let you know how I go with time before it goes flat. I think all batteries at some time, lose their battery time as they are such little batteries inside these things. At least the Volt batteries are well priced, so you can just order another one. :)

I looked at all the skins and different accessories too. But with express, it was creeping the cost up a bit, so I plan to order again soon, and include some extra things I didn't get the first time around.

I can't wait, it's so close now. :vapor:

I got it Tuesday MegaBee. I really like it a lot. The stainless longer manual battery is my favourite of the two. Smaller black auto is still good, but I like the manual better. They seem to last a long time, battery wise, and cart wise. I'm overjoyed with my Volt. Stopped smoking officially at 4pm Tuesday OZ time. After a few initial first timers hiccups. lol. :p

Hi chickOZ, glad to see you got your kit and like the Volt. I still can't hardly believe what a great job that little battery does. Most of my batteries are the short ones, but I think I'm going to start ordering the long ones for a while. I like the size of the short one but the longer 78mm does last longer. Hope you hang around here on the forum and join in on our conversations. :)

woohoo!! BTW I love your forum name :) very cute. Congrats on giving up the stinkies and I am totally chuffed you love your volt gear! Now let me know how you go trying different flavours hehehe. That is always the tricky part finding that special juice that makes it easier to stay off the stinkies.

Thanks everyone. I will be sure to hang around, as I still have a lot to learn. :)

Very glad to be off the stinkies Megabee. Don't even feel like one. It's quite amazing! :toast:

The volt makes it very easy to quit. Great for noobs like me, and it gives a great vapor without any effort, so will be great for long term use too. I had some other juice ordered before I found the Volt, so I'm using that at the moment. It seems to be pretty good. Usual first day symptoms, but hopefully that should ease over the next few days. :)

Can't wait til my stainless batteries come in.. I'm a slacker though and get the auto. I don't mind the manual passthrus at all though.. guess I'm just lazy and don't feel like pressing a button while I'm driving lol.

You have probably already been told this, but be sure to drink lots of water.
Vaping can dehydrate you so extra water will help with dry or soar throat.
Welcome and best of luck to ya! :)

Gormadoc, I hope you receive your stainless battery very soon. Certainly my favourite. I think I would want auto while driving too, but I'm housebound with some injuries atm, which is why I was smoking too much approx 4 days ago, and had to do something.

I find I don't have to drag as hard on the 78mm manual, and more air sucked in on the shorter auto. Anyone know if that is normal for shorter & or auto. I'm going to order a couple more (both 78mm I think), and possibly one manual, and one auto again. Not sure yet.

Also looking for a small case to pop in my bag when we go out for our short drives. I have the PCC coming, so something just to hold one complete e cig would be real handy.

Thank you crbrown. I started the sore throat today, and even my mouth is a little sore too. I had read to drink water & was adding a little staminade the last few days, but today I didn't. I think I better go back to it. My fluid is also VG, so maybe I won't get as dry, not sure yet. :)

Yah got both batteries in.. unfortunately one of them wasn't the right size so gotta swap that out as soon as the passthru I'm returning comes in.
