I find the Volt carts are much better quality than the generics. I have been using my originals since I got the kit, and just yesterday had to toss 3 of 5. I still have several generics, but I find they are packed looser, don't hold as much juice as the Volt carts and vape too fast. They don't last as long, either. Out of 15 I had, I've already burned out 4. :(
The only problem I'm having with my Volt is, one of the batteries is acting odd. When I try to use it, it feels clogged and hard to draw on, like an analog that was made too tight. The other batt still works like new. I'd like to get a couple more batteries as well, maybe some other colours, just to freak people out. :vapor:

Ayce, if you haven't given the thread end of the battery a good clean try with an old toothbrush and get into the holes on the sides of the threads (as well as go around the threads with the tooth brush). These holes are air passageways and of course smallish and also do get a little blocked with use.

Just to Clarify ... there is no factory called "Generic" in China that specializes in producing subpar products. I buy unbranded batts and unbranded cartos from Canvape ... but I know they are genuine Kanger and are great quality. I'm sure if I approached Kanger and asked for several thousand batts and cartos with a label and was willimg to pay extra they would happily produce them for me. The Volt is a quality product because they use a quality supplier ... that same factory probably makes "generics" that come off the same line.

Volt hardware is not made by Kanger, just an FYI. They are 808-1D threaded (remember, 808-1D is a threading standard, it doesn't mean that everything that says 808-1D was made by Kanger) devices but they are made by a different manufacturer.

Me, my girlfriend and about 8-9 of my co-workers are using the Volt and their gear is superior to other 808-1D gear, there's no question about it. That's not to say that 808-1D gear from other places isn't great gear though, I've hear lots of great things about Boge 808-1D cartomizers, the Bloog line etc...

The Volt was the first line of 808 gear with sealed batteries and horizontal coil cartos, they are pretty invested in putting out quality stuff.

Can you tell that I'm a bit of a Volt fanboy? :) I may have some news very shortly about the Volt being available in Canada, I will keep you posted!
