I was looking for a simple to use product to use while doing yard work, out shopping with the fam... Hopefully this product will live up to what I've read.

So far I've owned/used:

Blu -> gave to a friend
Magma kit -> gave to a different friend
Joye Ego-T kit-> still using
puck w/ MY-T(dual coiled) -> still using
Volt pro kit w/slider -> on order

Can't wait, the wife will probably steal this kit, hence the 0% nic I ordered.
I'll probably need to buy another later.

Welcome, thenn!! Glad to have you here. The Volt is a great product, and I'm very happy with them, even though I started with two other makers (which I still use their batteries). Smokeless Image has become my seller of choice, now, and I'll be here for a long time I think. I believe you will be very happy with your choice, too.

For the pcc, well, I've heard good things about both, so you're probably going to be just fine. For myself, I ordered the mega pcc, and happy enough with it that when I ordered more kits I got a couple more so I have them in all three colors.

I prefer buying kits with accessories because the sum of the whole is cheaper than if I'd bought each component separately, and you never know when you will need spares or end up with the compulsion to hand these things out to other people to nudge them in the right direction, too. Now I'm even looking at the very basic one battery kits to take to work to use as loaners for a day to convince people to come over to the good side. :D

Welcome thenn :)

Sure you will be very happy with the Volt! I too like to work hands free. With the Volt I can do just that. SI also has drip tips "soft tips" that are great for holding it in your mouth comfortably. Let us know how you guys like it;)

Received the Volt kit:

Initial impression: slick
First couple drags on the Volt after charging: holy ....
These things are great.
Same TH as dripping and soooo compact.

PCC Slider case: scuffed up and plasticky, I feel like I should have gotten the mega since the slider is a lot longer than I though it would be.

Over all impression: wow

I'll post a usage report soon.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1331350764.161877.jpgThanks for the info, I guess I'll just keep the cover plastic on like a screen protector seems to be doing a good enough job.

I have ego-t fat batt with a MY-T for the house, also a couple puck that I've made.

So my wife wants to start vaping 0 nic, she's a nonsmoker. She wants to use it as a way to curb her sweets cravings. I let her try my volt, she won't give 1 of the batts back.
I may be paranoid, but I don't know if her vaping is the best idea because she has asthma.

Anyone have asthma or vape 0 nic for the fun of it?

Dunno about the asthma, but she's right about the curb-the-sweets thing. I've lost over 30 pounds since I started vaping and I haven't felt the need to have ANY sweets since Christmas (couldn't pass up real pie). I think the only sugar I ever get now is the 1 1/2 tsp in my oatmeal every day. And yet I've had blueberry cheesecake, bananas foster, chucky monkey ice cream, boston cream pie... This isn't true for everybody, but if you really wanna take it there, it can really work! :p I think it's fast becoming a trick for models too.

One thing about her being a nonsmoker is that she probably wouldn't inhale all the way down like we ex-smokers do. The flavor hitting the tongue is really enough to do the trick. But yeah, don't get her started on the nic. That can really tense things up in there.

Thanks for the info. She used to social smoke back in high school never really inhaling. I think she's interested in 0 and wants me to get her 6 mg as well.

I'd prefer she not mess with any nic, but it's her choice.

I didn't know that this could be used to curb an appetite. I'm always starving when I vape. Especially sweet flavor.

Update on my stuff. I've vaped for about 2 hour off and on ~ 45 mins in total. Made a dripper cart and was having a hard time putting the device down.

Things I've noticed:
1: dripper cart cut off the 7 second auto shut off.
2: dripper cart gets super duper hot, batt somewhat warmer than initial use.
3: both batteries have a inhale quickly through nose sound, since first use, but function great.

I get to do a full work day functionality test tomorrow including charging through the PCC.

Doesn't curb my appetite, just my need for sweets. You still have to eat! In fact, if you don't, you could be facing an ulcer. Any taste foodlike stirs up digestive juices, and if there's nothing in there to digest, they just go after your stomach lining.

Could your dripper cart have a leak? Weird things happen when even a drop of liquid gets on the batt post. Get enough liquid in there and you could clog up the airholes on the bottom sides of the batt post. Also, my cartos only get super hot when the heating coil is good and cruddy. I've gotten one liquid that has done that immediately.

Good luck tomorrow/ Hope it works for you! :)

My DIL has serious asthma and anyone smoking near her really gives it a fit. Vaping doesn't bother her at all though. I have C.O.P.D. and being around smokers sometimes makes it difficult to breathe. Vaping doesn't seem to affect it though and my Dr blesses it. As far as nic goes it can be an appetite supressent to some extent and while 6 mg may not be very harmful it's still very addictive. Probably not much danger of her starting to smoke because of it with her asthma.
