First of all, congratulations that you've decided to try an e-cig and see if it will help you quit smoking. That's the first huge step.

Here's my take at your questions:
{SNIP}
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the detailed answers. (I would have replied earlier, but now that I'm eligible to post in the SmokelessImage forum, I was watching it instead of here).

1. I can't really order anything right this minute (they are completely out of batteries), so I'm hoping the new shipment shows up with 78s Thur or Fri and I'll place on order then. I understand PCCs won't be available until then later in the month, so I'll probably order a kit with the standard USB/wall chargers.

2 & 3. This is good to know. However, when/how do carts go bad? (If the answer is "never", that will be good for me, but bad for SmokelessImage :p).

4. After reading "Puffology 102: Mantras Are Friendly Helper Elves", I think my mantra will be "one dont-overfill-the-carto, two dont-overfill-the-carto, ...".

Again, thanks.

I, as well, am new to vaping and have ordered a VOLT as my first device. I'm very excited to begin using it, as I currently smoke a pack of Parliament Menthol Lights per day. I'm so sick of the cough, bad taste in my mouth, and phlegm! I'm glad I found this forum and especially this thread! I didn't know they were gonna start selling e-juice!

I read above that the VOLT is KR808-1D style. Does that mean that any KR808-1D parts are interchangeable? So when I want to begin modding, can I start with my VOLT?

Where is this "Volt thread" or "Smokeless Image forum" that you guys keep mentioning?

I can't find anything like that in the Forum Suppliers section or the Model Specific Discussion section.

Here ya go

There has been some supply issues but you'll find that the company is extremely open and answers all questions in their thread. It's the first company I've ever really felt like I have an actual human on the other side to interact with which for me goes a long way. Overall a really positive experience thus far.

I echo that! Whenever I go on their site (even late hours) there's someone 'manning' the online chat.

To me, It's sounding like the company is having issues right out of the gate.
Especially if after the last number of days they can't keep basic equipment in house.

Consider Bloog or another company selling the KR808D-1. Volt is far from the only game in town and new. Others have been out there for many a moon.

That's because they've recently gotten some excellent reviews from well known reviewers.

Yes they are the same. I just received one from them today. They don't have the logo on them like the Bloog and Volt which I like. I wanted a good small auto to use occasionally and these fit the bill. The auto battery works great and the cartos are very good for small ones. I prefer my 1300 Echo auto but for those wanting a small pv these are very good.:2cool:

OP here - I ordered a kit from SmokelessImage last Fri evening, and received it in the mail on Mon! This is my first e-cig, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but its working fine for me. The batts arrived fully charged and ready to go.

BTW, they have most everything in stock on their web page now. More juices, additional batt lengths/colors, and a PCC for the 78mm batts due by the end of the month. Check 'em out!
