Hello,

I've dabbled with cheap-o gas station brand e-cigs on and off for a year now, but couldn't stick with them because of sub-par flavors and faulty hardware; however, I did like the experience and am eager to get in to vaping.

After extensive research on this forum (which was a great help!) and other sites, I decided to order Smokeless Image's Volt Pro Starter Kit based on its good reviews and my preference for a 2-piece mini auto. It is in the mail now. The battery is the Volt KR-808D-1 Style 65mm Sealed Automatic

I definitely plan to take the route of buying e-liquid (premixed for now as I am a beginner) and doing refills myself instead of buying prefilled cartomizers for obvious economic reasons.

I am considering getting the Volt CE3 Bottom Coil Cartomizer. I don't mind that refilling requires a syringe and I like the fact it is the same size as the 65mm battery.

I am also considering the Volt Nano Cartomizer. Although easy to fill, I heard

Questions:
1) I heard the Volt Nano Cartomizer is difficult to clean, only lasts a few refills, and produces inferior flavor/vapor compared to the CE3. Is this correct?

2) Approximately what is the number of refills or lifespan of a CE3 cartomizer if cleaned properly and often?
How does this compare to Volt's Nano Cartomizer's lifespan?

3) Any reason I shouldn't get the CE3?

Hi Zel,
You'll probably get more info and input on the Smokeless Image sub-forum here:
Smokeless Image

You'll need 5 posts in the new members section before you can post in other sub-forums.
I haven't used the nano myself.
Some people love the CE3s, some love the nanos.
I haven't used the CE3s for quite a while as I prefer cartomizers with my Volt stuff. So I can't remember how long they lasted. Just found them a bit too fiddly with the syringe. Some people swear by them though.
There are people over on the sub-forum who know the best way to use them.
