VOLT Regulated USB passthru - nice

Just got a Volt Regulated USB passthru (808D) delivered today from Smokeless Image in the US. Measures 3.7-3.8V unloaded on my meter, center contact is sealed and unslotted, 2 airholes in the barrel, manual activation. I have a typical 5V passthru that I hardly ever use, but this one will get used a lot. Having the same voltage as my batts makes all the difference in the world to me, as it makes for a consistent vaping experience. I'll probably get a second one to keep in the car. The return address on the package was a persons name, not Smokeless Image, and the customs declaration listed the item as a usb cable, which indicates Smokeless Image understands how to get things across the border.... Cheers.

Addendum ... the declared value was also far less than what I payed ... even at what I payed it would not have triggered a GST hit, but still of interest ... your mileage may vary.

I have one too, only thing i don't like is that they don't sell manual ones. But either way, SI is pretty awesome, never had problems ordering from them.

Did you get the fancy wall adapter for using it on regular power?

Acutally, the one I got is manual... maybe thats how they come now ... I have several 2A usb adapters so I'm good there ... on the box it came in, SI recommends a 1.5A adapter ... they further recommend USB 2.0 for plugging into the computer ... I kinda have a problem with that because the USB 2.0 spec only allows for 500ma power ... most computers will deliver more than spec but I would never use it on my computer.
