so i have a 5 v usb passthrough and im wondering what ohm(i think the ohm determans the resistance high/low correct me if im wrong) atty carto would be best for it also if someone could explain which amp usb would be best for my passthrough i have 3 options non are attached to a computer they all plug into the wall .5a 1a and 2.6 amp im looking for a 2. also can i run lr atty's cartos with one of these and if so or even if not can you please explain why so i can make this call with different volt and amp pv's. im also looking at fluxomizers but they come in a wide range of ohms i could use some info on that with my passthrough.

than you in advance  tsf

V=IR (Voltage in Volts equals Current in Amps multiplied by Resistance in Ohms)

If you have 5 Volts and a 2.6 Amp supply, then your minimum resistance is R=V/I, or R=5/2.6=1.92 Ohms. If you go lower in resistance then your power supply will cut something down, either voltage or current. A USB device should cut current.

So, now you know the formula that gives you the relationship between voltage, current and resistance, but you have left off some information. Mainly what type of passthrough you are talking about. If your passthrough has a battery in-line, then your current and voltage is controlled by what the battery can discharge, but if your passthrough has no battery, then the voltage and current are dependent upon the formula given above with the maximum current of your supply as the absolute maximum output.

Now, the bad news. The thing that has the biggest impact on your vaping experience is power. Power is heat and is measured in Watts electrically. P=VI (Power in Watts equals Voltage in Volts multiplied by Current in Amps.) If you can find the P, Watts, that works for you, then you can carry that experience over a battery mod, like a variable voltage mod or a high voltage mod. That is the good news.

For the ohms question - with any PV you want to stay in and around the 6.5 to 9 Watt area for best vapor and flavor - any more than that you'll start losing flavor (and attys/cartos) and any less than that you'll lose the big vapor. 5 volts/ 3 ohms * 5 volts - the wattage formula will put you at 8.3 Watts. And I've found 3.0 ohm attys and cartos vape well. 3.4 ohms isn't bad either. 2.8 ohms you're pushing it.
