voltage drop on mech

So I'm just curious as to what is reasonable for voltage drop on my mech. I have a smoktech fury-s with a smoktech xpure rda and I'm using a MNKE IMR 1500 mAh 18650. I have a dual coil setup reading 0.7 ohms and my battery is showing 3.9v without the rda attached. Once I connect the rda it drops to 2.7v which seems like quite a bit. Any advice would be appreciated.

I am not familiar with those pieces, but in general voltage drop is effected by the materials, number of connection points, and quality of connection points. Without purchasing a new set up, you can sand your contacts flat, so more surface area is being utilized. You can plate the contacts with a more conductive metal (stainless steel<brass<copper<silver), and make sure the contacts and threads are polished and free of tarnish.

Due to a lack of consistent methodology, among other things, there are far too many variables to consider when comparing VD from one user/mech/battery/atty/resistance to another... but off hand, I'd say you have problems.

Take a look at the most consistent, repeatable and unbiased test methodology... to understand why.
