Voltage drop

sos guys. Last question.
I want to pull 20 amps from an 18650 mod.
If I use a Sony VTC 4 i think it's safe enough. The battery is new and I won't make a habit of it.
I don't really understand 'under load' to much. my build is .2 which draws 20 amps but the load of atty+mod is making the end result a 3.7 V and lowering the amperage.

How do I make it so the end result is 20/21 A. Can it be done with an 18650 mod?

Is this on a mech? And what's the VTC4 rated (sorry don't use them so not off the opt of my head)? Do you trust the rating?

If it's on a regulated mod, I know of none that would run a single 18650 at 80W, which is essentially what you want. Not even sure I'd do the usual 75W max they're limited to. Are you stuck with nothing that's a dual battery setup?

Hey, thanks for answering. No it's a mech and the VTC4s are a verified 30 Amp. They say so and so does the battery tester Mooch.

It's just a one time thing I wanted to check. I'm usually down at the 11-15 watts so...

Basically I just wanted to know if I could ever do it because I haven't measured the voltage drop but wondered if there's any point in trying to reach 20 amps with an 18650.

It's cool though, I think I could but I'd have to go so low, like 0.15 so maybe not.
(Depending on voltage drop, I'd have to get a meter)

That would draw 24.5A. Technically you could with a 30A battery. Sure, I guess. But in my super conservative view, you're sure not leaving yourself much wiggle room if things go funky.

the reason is that I have a safety fuse that trips at 20 amps. Although I only go at 3/4 Amps whatever it is, I always wonder about that fuse. No worries

Keep in mind as the battery ages, the amp rating drops.
