voltage indicator wiring

OK now I need more help, I will be making a vv mod using 2- 18650 bats and this voltage indicator.
Need to know best way to hook up the wires, what wires go where , thank's

Display up, pin on the right to ground (negative) black wire in photo, next pin to 3.7 volt (tap between cells), white wire in photo, next pin to 7.4 volts (top of stack), second white wire in photo.

Display will stay on unless you switch the ground or both positives.

The other option is to put cell negative to the right pin and regulator switched output to pin 2. Will only come on when fired but won't indicate each cell, only output voltage.
Just remember the meter comes on by itself when voltage is applied.

there's one just a little smaller, if that matters.
search ebay for 1s -6s meter.

Thanks Rocketman, This will be my at home mod so size is no problem. But the next one I do I will get that smaller one.

If that is a 2s-6s it has to be connected to a minimum of two batteries, to read the voltage off the trigger you need a 1s meter.

Thank's BJ43, it is a 2s-6s but I plan on making 2 mods using 2-18650 bats in both of them.

I ordered the 10 pack of them, I have a few of them hooked up in my other mods and liked them. If your looking for just the clips for a 18650 bat, check out newark.com they have the 18mm clips for the 18650 bat for 63 cents each.

just got the voltage indicator and it doent have the 4 wire connector with it. I went to radio shack and a few other places looking for the part with no luck. Where can I get the connector or anything else that I can use for it, thank's.

The pins on mine are on 0.1 inch centers.
RS probably has a 0.1 inch header connector.

connector for a 3.5 inch floppy drive fits.
Sorry but photo shows the connector at the wrong end for the meter I have.
You could move the pins around for wire color also.
You could just solder to the pins.

Thank's Rocketman, I looked at radio shack's site and they didnt have them. I found some on ebay and ordered
them, now waiting for that slow boat. My soldering is not that great or I would try that but dont want to mess it up.
I figured they would come with the V indicator...guess not.

heres some other great connectors i use . I actually have thousands of both from work .

They are jst or molex connectors and come in 2pin up to 10+ pin . You could have also just soldered the wires straight on . I use the 1s indicator only . I could never get the 2s indicators to work right .

Thanks rive510, radio shack didnt have those connectors that small only bigger ones.
My soldering is bad so I dont want to try and screw it up.
