Voltage output on battery higher than rated Voltage

Hello there,
I'm kinda new to vaping and I got myself a Kangertech subox mini c Kit with an LG HG2 Battery. The rated Voltage is around 3.7 V.
But if go above 30 Watts I get way more than 4 V output. (atleast thats what my subox mini c shows me) If i go to 38 Watts its over 5 V output.
Is that normal or should i get myself a new battery?

It's not your battery that is doing this. It's the chip in your device and that is exactly what it is suppose to do.

I was just confused because of the rated Voltage and wanted to make sure everything is working correctly.

regulated mods have a circuit in them that can boost output voltage higher than the battery voltage ( like a transformer kinda sorta)....
