To date, I've never seen any atomizer, cartomizer, nor clearomizer specify a maximum current or voltage. Which is probably a good thing because I am sure some folks would see that number and assume the setting that provided that would be perfect for that coil and could be upset that their vapor tastes burnt or nasty.

You do not have to know anything about DC electrical theory to get a good vape from your Vamo and atomizer. Just prepare your atomizer per the vendor's instructions and set your Vamo to the lowest setting. Vape. If it is not to your liking, turn it up a small bit and try again. Repeat as needed. If your vape gives too much throat hit, too hot, or tastes burnt, and there is enough juice in the atomizer for it to work correctly, then you've gone too high and need to turn it down.

Now if you did the above with the settings on wattage, it will not really matter what you screw on the Vamo next as it will be pretty close to what you know you like already. You may have to go a bit up or down on the wattage setting to get it perfect, but it should be fairly close.

I ran some quick calculations and I do not thing the Vamo is capable of producing enough voltage to be unsafe to your atomizer, but I am sure it can produce enough to make for a hot burnt tasting vapor. Usually electrical wire lasts longer if there is no movement and the current through it is lower than its capacity. The heating coil is a wire too, so minimizing movement, like dropping, and using lower voltage will help it last longer. But I know I would rather have a great vape than an atomizer that lasted for years.
