P=V2/R, so 5.78 watts is correct. I'm using the 1.5 ohm coils on a Mini Protank 3, and it seems to like 9.5 watts. Which for your 2 ohm coil would be roughly 4.4 volts.
Well your math is right, but far as the correct wattage/voltage, well, that's up to you. In the end, we all dial in by taste, basically, just keep cranking it up, then once she starts to taste a bit burnt or hot, dial it down, till it taste just right.
Looks like you have a fair handle on ohm's law, now it's just a matter of finding the level of vape that works best for you.!!!

This is true for a single coil.
Your Aerotank is a dual-coil device. A 2Ω dual coil device consists of two 4Ω coils--so you really need more voltage (wattage) to get a satisfying vape. With a 2Ω DC atty, I'd start at 4.2 or 4.4v--and adjust up or down to your liking.

Ohms law really isn't that complicated but it's nice to have a device like the the sigelei 30 watt with the sx300 chip to do the math for you.

I currently vape my Aspire 1.6ohm bottom vertical coils at 13watts and my 1.2ohm rebuildable tank coils at 16-17 watts. Personal preference and juice and hardware dependant. Thats the joy of variable voltage and variable wattage. I am interested to see how the DNA40 with temp control vape.
