Voodoo - New Summertime Flavor!

Still no Voodoo in the post.

I even agonized about which color tank it should go in or if it should go in a G6 or Triton. I settled on my Purple Triton since it sounds so good and there is a nice new fresh clean wick in there.

Well I have a brand new Protank waiting for it to go in!!!!!!!

I finally couldn't wait any longer - received my bottle a Voodoo on the 13th - and I did the cap on/cap off shake, shake and more shaking!

I couldn't stand it!!! So I loaded it up and OMG! Halo has really outdone themselves this time, this is absolutely one of the BEST! It definitely comes in line with the Halo lineup and I really need to stop to let the flavors develop more.

Like some others have mentioned, I really don't taste the tobacco at all, it may be there in the background, but dark grape, more like currant covers the tastebuds, but it's not sharp as the vanilla even though it is subtle takes the edge off. I can't wait for it to fully develop and vape some more.

Course, I didn't let my Tribeca or Prime15 sit either - I have been Halo deficient for so long - I just couldn't help myself!

A ways after midnight here, just back from my first walk of the night. Got nailed by a huge thunderstorm, so stopped by the mailbox to get under cover for the worst of it. Found that my latest Halo order had come today with the free juice. Back home and my dry lake out front is full now - a typical summer storm on the desert. So I'm doing a little Voodoo right now... has me thinking I ought to get out the the fishing pole.

First impression is good (as I knew it would be), Halo has THE e-liquids nailed. But with all the replies suggesting it needs to be steeped, that's where mine will go too.

OK. Moved to 12MG and a formal introduction to my PM rotation.

Question: Has anyone mixed Voodoo with another juice on purpose? Please give me some ideas as I'm looking for just a tad more sweetness in the PM when my body craves it and trying to migrate my entire PM rotation to 12MG. Don't worry, every day still starts with 18MG Tribeca.

Just got my sample in the mail! I can't wait to try it, but I'm letting it sit for a few days. My first impression is that it smells fruity... almost tropical. My sample came in 12mg which is my preference, so that's a plus.

Guess I'll find out in a few days if I like it... unless I get impatient.

I received a 10mL sample of 6mg Voodoo with my last Halo order. It's light and fruity -not the sort of thing I thought I would enjoy, but I DO enjoy it. I'm not sure if I'll order more but I'm definitely gonna finish this sample. The flavor seems to improve (and the juice turns a darker color) as it "cooks" in my mini-tank. Halo should definitely classify this as a dessert/gourmet flavor as opposed to a tobacco flavor.

I received a free 10ml bottle @12mg thanks to Cinder and the gracious folk at Halo. Me being so impatient, I opened the package, broke out my RDA ( built out to 1.7 ohms, between 3.5-3.9 volts) and gave it a vape. I must say, it was a very complex vape. right away on the inhale I got the grape flavor, but it's not a candy grape, more of a natural grape. I could also taste the berry in there as well. On the exhale, I got a plum, grape, slightly cinnamon-tabacco taste. My tastebuds were shocked by the complexity of the flavors all coming through at different points of each vape. Now that its been a few days of steeping, it actually taste better than it did fresh out the box. This is one of those flavors I could find myself using more as a evening, chillout vape more than an ADV. The different voltage definitely made different flavors shine at random intervals (which was crazy to me but I like it!), but because I prefer complex flavors that are not the norm, I'll be ordering some of this for sure....as soon as I run out.

Well, I got mah free sample from Cinder Ella (thank you) and I thought it had a fruity taste! Had a mellow taste with light throat hit but I'm a tobacco vaper mostly! I got a brite idea ta mix it with some of mah tobacco and it wuz Great!! So I think It'll be a mixer fer me, but if ya likes a fruity type, you oughta like this!

I got a free sample of voodoo as well! Honestly, it's ok, but the fruity taste isn't exactly my flavor so I wouldn't consider it an adv.. But I've mixed it half and half with Tribeca and it tastes pretty good! The mix is something I think I could vape all day, but not every day.

I agree! Honestly my expectations of both Tribeca and Voodoo were a little let down at first.. More so with Tribeca. It's good, but the flavor is just too strong for me.. Voodoo is nice because it seems to be a little more subtle, even though it packs its own punch; but the two mixed together IMO are much better than each on their own.

There's this crazy synergy between the graham cracker flavor of the Tribeca and the fruitiness of the Voodoo. They combine to form this complex dessert-like flavor with a bunch of different (but harmonious) notes going on at once. I was never a pipe smoker, but this is how I imagine a really good sweet pipe tobacco might taste. Well, thanks to your suggestion, I guess I'm gonna order a bottle of Voodoo after all!

That's a great description! It's weird too because I feel like the black currant really gives it that bitterness of an actual pipe tobacco smoke. I'm considering trying a drop or two of Belgian cocoa now to mellow out the bitterness into a sweeter taste.

Edit: never mind.. The Belgian cocoa is just too strong. I'm just not a fan of the Belgian cocoa, but I was hoping I could use it to perfect an already good vape. Guess ill keep experimenting. I added .4 ml to 1.6 ml of evenly blended tribeca/voodoo. .4 was just a little too much. I'll try .2 next time.

Reading this makes me want to order some Tribeca to add to the Voodoo!!
